shruti.... ok from which angle do you say they are manipulating history.. first of all they are following the track of chand bardai's raso which was a glamourised version of the actual king's life. 😕

if they are following raso, then the raso concentrated a lot on prithvi sanyo's love story....

according to the raso, prithvi got married to his first wife indrawati when he was 11 😕 . he got married to sanyogia when he was 17-18 and sanyogita was 16. so can you find someone better than rajat and mugdha to fit a 17-18 love story..

shruti i dont understand what you mean here.. anyway, historically they were supposed to be married for 7 years before he died.. and he died at 25 so raso or not -> prithviraj chauhan got married to sanyogita at that age ..

but i do agree with you that in order to show prithviraj chauhan great they are dramatizing a lot of things that are not in the raso. 😕 (where coming to think of it raso itself was all in praise of PRC's life)

and as for showing a them as a married pair.. dont they show marriages in all other serials and dont children watch all other serials too 😕 i mean... people understand that they cant/dont have to show anything mighty different from what they are showing right now.. they are showing a pretty decent romantic track now which they can continue after their wedding as well...

this is precisely the main reason for the arguement that these two must be the married pair because that is what suits history best - if they want to stick to history that is 😊

you know once in DD there was a serial of a maharashtrian king who (as all other kings) married his princess when he was 15 and she was 11.. they actually showed the married pair and it was such a sweet pair (i think the girl was played by the girl who plays son pari today) and that serial was tons more decent than what we see on serials today.. they stuck true to the historical story and happenings.. 😊

i am totally against child marriage .. but if thats what happened in history thats what happened right 😊 ? and btw rajat is not a child from any angle anymore yaar.. 😆

I agree with you lashy, that if we are going according to history and the raso than prithvi did start getting married when he was 11 years old. He was 17 yrs when he married sanyo which is why rajat and mugdha can play the marriage.

The main point to consider is that rajat and mughda are playing a character of prithvi and sanyo and it is not them who is getting married that we have to worry about the issue of them looking too young. As a actor they have to play the character if the script requires it and it shows their versality.

Shruit - I do understand your concern 😊about young couples getting married on screen but I think the viewers are intelligent enough to know that it is the marriage of sanyo and prithvi we are seeing on screen.

Shruti, I think They are manipulating many many many more things than just prithvi-sanyo track.

for example, Did you know, prithvi married 7 or 13 ( no-one is shure abt the number) of girls. Sanyo was the 7th one. He got married when he was 11, when someshwar was alive. now where are those girls?

Still we do understand that sagars are just trying to show the essence of the one of the most glamousrous love-story in inidian history..and thats why they are ignoring more like editing lots of things..(i.e. from raso ) no-one is so sure about what actually happened.

So looking at the essence of the story RT and MC has portayed it amazing and to change the cast in a middle is gonna make the story look incomplete. and sad.. According to raso, pri was 17-18 ish and sanyo was only 2 yrs younger than him. So considering all the points, I think only RT and MC can justify the role for and even after the swayamvar.

Shruti, early marriages was a fact at that time. so there is nothing wrong with them showing it if you are making a historial serial. It can be shown gracefully (better than what you see in movies anyways) and I know its shown on televisions before... It was taken very decent and graceful. I am sure sagars are creative enough to show that.

So I think there is nothing wrong with RT and Mc shown married. Actully thats the only right thing I can see...

u've got a point there...but..as u said.....i have not read the prc raso... but a general viewer of the serial can clearly make out that these guys are changing history....

well....do u think...the extra brialliant yojnas were there in the raso...what abt the darinda episode???

Well ... if 30 yr old ppl can play the role of a college student....y can't a 25 yr old play the role of the young prc....it would be better to play safe...coz critics like me...😆 have the eyes and ears OPEN....it would be better for the sagars to deal with the problem on their own instead of creating media attention...
some media ppl have the habit of making a mountain out of an anthill!!

i agree with u when u say graceful and decent romance....that would be okay....the present romance btwn them can continue l8r too...but i still feel Mughda is ok...but RT is too youngish for the role...i don't know...but i feel his voice is still young and not manly......😕
