Prithviraj to go off air soon - New Article

All good things must come to an end. And the epic show Prithviraj Chauhan is no exception. According to sources, it is going off air soon.

"Prithviraj Chauhan is nearing end and in the climax, Mohammed Ghouri will capture Prithviraj and take him to Afghanistan. Ghouri takes advantage of Prithviraj being lost in thoughts and manages to overpower him. The show will end sometime in March but it could be delayed because sometimes it's put on hold for reality show finales and award ceremonies," said the source.

When asked if this indeed was true, Anas Rashid, the male lead of the show, admitted that the end is near for Prithviraj Chauhan. He, however, wasn't ready to let out the details. "We're sticking to the historical story and it will be over soon. But I can't tell you more than that," Rashid said. Producer Meenakshi Sagar didn't deny the development. "The story is coming to a close. But I can't tell you how long it will stay on air. But we'll surely not keep it on just for the sake of it," she said.
