Prithviraj Chauhan - Played by Anas Rashid
Prithviraj Chauhan, the last ruler of Chauhan dynasty to sit on the throne of Delhi, was born in 1168 as the son of Someshwar Chauhan, the king of Ajmer. He was a brilliant child and very sharp at learning the military skills. He had the skill of hitting the target only on the basis of its sound. He succeeded to the throne of Ajmer at the age of thirteen,when his father died in a battle. His grandfather Anangpal, ruler of Delhi, declared him heir to the throne of Delhi.
Sanyogita - Played by Sheetal Dabholkar
Sanyogita is the beautiful daughter of the King of Kannauj, Jaichand. She is a pampered and protected girl. Tales of her beauty had spread far. Her love for Prithviraj is so strong that she defies her beloved father's wishes and chooses to run away with him. On the day of her swayamwar, she refuses to choose any of the princes present and instead openly declares her love by garlanding Prithviraj's statute kept at the door by her father. Soon, Prithviraj himself appears and they elope. Their love story was immortalized through songs and poems.
Chand Bardai - Played by Shobit
Chand Bardai was the court poet and a close friend of Prithvi A native of Lahore, Chand Bardai composed the Prithviraj Raso, an epic poem in Hindi about the life of Prithviraj. A Bhat Brahman of Jagati gotra, he was a worshipper of the goddess Saraswati, who gifted him with the boon of Bardai.
Punder - Played by Altaf
Pundir is one of Prithvi's friends who helped him through his missions, he is serious kind of character, but helps a lot. He looses his life in the battle between Prithvi and Jaichand.
Arjun - Played by Sudeep
Arjun is another friend of Prithvi. He jokes around a lot. he took care of the administration of Delhi when Prithvi went for the Digvijay.
Mohamad Ghori - Played by Irfan
Mohamad Ghori was the ruler of Ghor. It is said that he fought 16 wars with Prithvi and was defeated and later forgiven by Prithvi in first 15 wars(according to prithviraj raso). He however defeats Prithvi in the 16th war and blinds him using hot iron rods. Prithvi later kills Ghori using shabdbedi baan vidya.
Jaichand
Jaichand is a courageous warrior who begins ruling Kannauj at the young age of 13. However, he is very stubborn and can be easily ill advised. His enemity with Prithvi starts when Prithvi gets the crown of delhi which further increases when his pampered daughter Sanyogita elopes with Prithvi.
Kamalavathi
The youngest daughter of King Anangpal of Delhi and wife of King Someshwar of Ajmer. Prithvi - her son, is the apple of her eye and she is very concerned for him. She represents an Indian wife and mother capable of rising up to the situation
Pratha - Played by Sarika
Pratha is Prithvi's younger sister. She is married to Samar Singh, King of Chittor. She is brave rajput woman.
Samar Singh - Played by Preeth
Samar Singh is Prithvi's brother in law. he is the King of Chittor and also a close friend of Prithvi. Their friendship started with a treassure hunt, and the treassure was later divided equally between them.
