Hey all

As we know that there is news of season 2 being scrapped and production house being asked to cut down the scenes and story

Currently it seems the cast is not even shooting.

firstly it is disappointing coz makers had a story worth running for 80 epis which they will now cut down to 40 epis

Also will we even get a proper ending and a climax...Why has the cast stopped shooting...have they already shot for the climax

There is no official confirmation from anywhere and dropping TRPs isn't helping the case either

I wish channel would have made PV a daily and the show completed it's run

Entire team worked so hard for over a year and m sure they won't be happy if channel cuts short their story and scraps the already shot scenes and epis...This is unfair to all including the viewers

It's not a nice feeling when you watch a show knowing that it will wrap up before the intended time..takes away the excitement

All in all I am disappointed

How you got to know cast is not shooting ??

Guys we are confused here. The article said that PV's 1st season which was extended to 60 episodes will have only 40 episodes. Second Season may come after Dus Ka Dum like Naagin series.

Hope so ! That comes true

PV is the first historic show which I loved so much

Don't want it to be scraped brutally

Piyali is in Kolkata...Divyangana is not shooting either...Sunil is also out of Mumbai visiting DPS school...Shalini Ji has already wrapped her shoot..Jitin has shaved his beard and not shooting either...Even Ashish and Sonarika are not shooting as far as I know...Yusuf, Ashnoor and Sheezan are also not shooting

So it seems cast is not shooting at the moment

Actually that article has wrongly quoted as far as I know

Anirudh pathak had himself said during the launch that he has planned story for 2 seasons..each season will be of 40 episodes each so total epis will be 80

If show garners good response then season 2 will be made

PV cast had already completed the shoot for season 1 I.e. 40 epis...only few parts were remaining to be shot

Then they even started shooting for season 2 but it seems channel has scrapped season 2 and also those scenes which the cast shot for season 2

Now channel apparently has asked the makers to cut down the story and wrap the show in 40 epis itself that is only season 1 and there will be no season 2

Still I hope we will get an official confirmation soon

I really hope we get season 2

Looking at the promotions and attitude of the channel I am doubtful

Chances of season 2 are slim

I wish we get a season 2 and hope to get an official confirmation

Don't know what is the case but wrapping up the show before it's scheduled n planned episodes is a disappointment itself.
I have this experience with my last to last show which ended abruptly even being a content driven show. History is repeating here too.

Content oriented shows often meet this kind of fate...this has happened with few other shows that I used to watch that were high on content but didn't fetch higher TRPs
