Ya these actors fit their part perfectly even if they are not the same age as their characters...It is hard to imagine someone else in these roles besides the actors who are playing them 😊

Also there was a scene where Prithvi Vallabh was discussing marriage with his friend and he basically said that he has not found the person who he is looking for. And he had not accepted a proposal from another princess.

So people didn't stay single back then!?

No they did not especially women and they were married off at fourteen or fifteen and nobody asked their opinion about these things.

Or they didn't have friends?

They do have friends. what is it about that?

Infact I am happy that the show is breaking all stereotypes

That I am too. But such things did not happen back then.
one more example is Mrinal being elder to Prithvi

Also about Amrusha meeting Prithvi

Yes. Yes about that too. Amrusha must be in her mid twenties. What is she doing unmarried for so long? that too in those days.?

we just got two scenes of Prithvi and Amrusha
one was inside Malwa's palace(she is his friend after all)
2nd was was during Prithvi's exile when he was in her Kingdom
so what is wrong with that

In the forest that too a princess from neighbouring kingdom that too in her mid twenties. that too alone. Nothing wrong with that. but such things do not happen in those days.

or what 10th or 20th century has to do with it?

10th century has a lot to do with it. Centuries have a lot to do with it.

Tailap- 36
Mrinal- 40
Prithvi- 33-34
Sindhuraj- 32-33 or only few months younger than Prithvi

In the movie, Prithvi was 40 and may be Mrinal was there also older than Prithvi.

Vilas is 15 which was shown written somewhere and Bhoj is I think 16.

Mrinal is forty ? It is late love for Mrinal and Prithvi. As per movie Mrinal is a widow. and that makes her being single a possibility and also the late love. But being unmarried at forty is a bit strange.

Remember mankind goes by nature's laws in those days. Men and women marry when they were considered suitable for marriage. around fourteen to sixteen. years for women and around a few years older for men.

People get married fast and it does not depend on their wishes at all.

We were not there in 10th century to know what used to actually happened and what not happened in 10th century. If everything went according to you then there would be no serial made on this😆. We have to just watch the show instead of stressing on what happened then or not. Come on, Munj or Mrinal had not message us whatever happened in theirr time. Razia Sultan in 13th century herself was married at 35 that also in a forced marriage otherwise don't know when she would have been married. So not everything happened according to what you think were the norms then. If you are not able to handle this show then wonder how you would be able to handle the fantasy show from my signature pic set in 10th and 11th century which had so many things shown which would shock you😆.

And also not all in today's times marry at 18 and 21 which is our legal ages to get married. Why we are being so conservative and concerned about norms in everything? If Mrinal married at 15-16 then her husband would have ran long ago tired of her revenge jaap😆.

I dont from where you got the information that women were all married off, or they did not go out alone etc etc.
Let me tell you a story of Neelambari, [ na you wont find her on google]. her story is passed on from word of mouth.
I heard it from my grandmother, she heard it from her grandmother. and so on..
Goes back to centuries earlier.
she was born in a south indian family, a large one.
A free spirited girl, brushed shoulders with her priest father and brothers,
learnt the vedas and a Shiva Bakth.
She roamed the forests, played by the stream all by herself.
A lone soul.
Got attached to nature and the beauty and serenity it brings with it.
She wondered alone, mediated and meditated by the flowing stream
meditation need not necessarily be sitting cross legged and closing ones eyes.
She meditated in the gentle sound of birds, the river, the leaves.
She refused to be tied down to marriage when she came of age.
She became more and more one with prakruthi and detached from people, even though she did not leave her family and did not take sanyas.
she lived and lived a full life as a spinster.
she was well respected and sought after for her wisdom and the peace she brought it.
So my point is every women in ancient times did not get married.
There are many who did not make it to GOOGLE SEARCH

@Jaya
This story reminds me of Avvaiyar
Just that she took Sanyas and became a poet
A unmarried women who took Sanyas in her early age
went on to became great poet of all the times
she was peace messenger btw countries too😉

In fact as per History
Avvaiyar is not just one person
diff women poets were given that title at different time period of Tamil History
these women were free spirited and Traveled alone to different Kingdoms
