Yes these are flawed , grey and real characters...there aren't any white or black characters here at least not so far but very real , complex and layered characters

I agree what you have said about the characters

1.Jhakkala - She is a woman who wants her husband's attention...she wants to have the rights of the queen..She is a queen but the power lies with Mrinal...She is a mother who was not even informed about her son's marriage alliance Yes she is hurt...her reasons for detesting Kosha and enving Mrinal are understandable but like u said does she want only her husband and rights of being a mother or there is more to it...she called Kosha to show Kosha her place..but instead Kosha gave her a reality check...Jhakkala's actions might not be justified to an extent but we do know the reasons behind them..She definitely is a layered character..a grey character !

Now j think she will give orders to burn down the brothel as she is now a woman whose ego got hurt that too by a woman whom her husband loves

2. Kosha - she is a naive young girl...She lives in her own dream world and is in love with Tailap..She wants to live the life of a normal girl .wants to get married to the love of her life but she does know that there is no future of their relation coz society won't accept her...and yet she dreams of living her life with Tailap

I want to see what she is going to do...is she going to turn vengeful towards Jhakkala and Mrinal...Is she going to even misunderstand Tailap or she will be used as a pawn somehow against Mrinal and Tailap..only time will tell.

Her brothel will get burnt but she will escape possibly through the secret tunnel but where will she go from there...Let's see

3. Tailap - I find his character very interesting and complex..we know what all characters want except for him...What does he want ? What are his aspirations?

He loves his akka..for him she is his mentor , sister as well as mother..she is obligated to fight alongside her against Malwa...Revenge is Mrinal's mission but does Tailap also hate Malwa and want revenge the way Mrinal does?

I don't think so

Tailap I feel is someone who is not able to do what his heart tells him to do...He is not free in his own kingdom

He is a king but orders are given by his akka

He is a brother but his akka gives him orders instead of hearing him out

He is a husband but doesn't love his wife

He is in love with Kosha..wants to be with her but Can't for obvious reasons

Just like his tagline suggests - he truly is adhoora raja , Premi, bhai aur pati

Kosha said that he comes to her in search of peace/sukoon.

I think he wants to follow his own heart and take his own decisions but he is unable to do so

I think after he comes back from war he would want to be with Kosha but it will be too late and somehow he will blame Mrinal for the mess.

Kosha will be the first of many reasons for the bro sis bond to get strained..cracks will start to appear in their bond.

Tailap is going to snap at some point for sure...I am curious to see this character's journey

4. Mrinal- She is still living in the past..reliving those painful memories again and again. She is blinded by revenge so much so that she doesn't realise that she needs to cherish the relations that are left and are there in the present

She has become so overprotective of her brother that she doesn't even let him take his own decisions since she still treats him like a kid...she behaves like those parents who force their kids to take up a specific career not even thinking about what the child wants.

She needs to at least try to hear Tailap for once..to understand what he feels and what he wants...like you said she needs to stop using him like a tool to fulfil her revenge..she wants him to be the king but what does Tailap want..I guess she or anyone else has never asked him this.

She has to learn to live in the past and start listening to others...like Prithvi said she comes to a conclusion very quickly

Right now she is all about seeking revenge but I am curious to see how will she change once she will fall for Prithvi. Will she start understanding others , will she understand what Tailap wants, will she mellow down towards others and life...I am also curious to find out how character dynamics will change once she will fall for PV...what will she do if there will be a point when she will have to make a choice between Prithvi and Tailap...I am intrigued to find out

5. Prithvi - So far he has been shown as a balanced person...he believes in peace but will not she away from beheading the attacker...He doesn's come to a conclusion quickly..he believes in self defence...He believes that kingdoms flourish thorough art , culture , development and peace...war is necessary only whrn it comes to defending one's people and kingdom

He spared Mrjnal for a reason...yes he needs to be a bit more practical...Let's see what will happen.

One of the reasons this show is so different coz it encompasses both the sides of a coin simultaneously...

None of the main characters here are completely black or white

They are perfectly grey...n proudly flaunting this innate human nature😎

Just the female protagonist's layered n grey characterization are reason enough for the show to be standing out in the crowd!!
