Hello my Prithvi Vallabh Fam🤗
Finally the D-Day arrived when the storm by the name of Prithvi Vallabh has knocked on our TV screens. And it literally blew me away

The episode begins with Mrinal the Princess of Manyakhet riding along the seashore with a firm resolve in her eyes. She reminisces about how her entire family was massacred by Singhdant the King of Malwa. After that she swore an oath of vengeance and dedicated her life to her brother Tailap.

Mrinal and her brother Tailap engage in a battle with a rival kingdom before realising their strategy to use hired mercenaries from Africa. They turn the tide in their favour by eliminating their rivals and securing the allegiance of the mercenaries.

Meanwhile in Malwa, the formerly ruthless Singhdant is wrecked with guilt. The face of the kid Mrinal still haunts him.He has given up war and now advocates peace. However tension prevails in his own family in form of a rivalry between his biological son Sindhuraj and his elder adoptive son Munj aka Prithvi Vallabh.Singhdant sees the future of Malwa in Prithvi but Sindhuraj refuses to accept it.

Then we are introduced to the titular character and protagonist Prithvi Vallabh also known as Munj who is a lover of nature and poetry. He makes his way through the forests into the abode of banjaaras where he partakes in their celebration. However this is short lived as the African mercenaries launch a surprise attack.Prithvi fights them off and sends the corpses back to Manyakhet. The episode ends with Mrinal getting to hear the name of Prithvi Vallabh.

What I Loved About The Show:

1.As a viewer of ITV I am used to superficial elements like the hero making his entry in full on dramatic Bollywood style.😆
However here to my pleasant surprise both the protagonists made their entry in a subtle and yet impactful manner. One walked into a deserted fort while the other was walking in the forests.

2.They used a translator to communicate with the African mercenaries which I found interesting and realistic too.

3.When Vallabh fought the mercenary leader he didn't defeat him directly like a superhuman. At a point he too was getting overpowered but he recovered soon and delivered a crushing defeat to the mercenary.

4.ASHISH SHARMA AND SONARIKA BHADORIA 👏👏❤️Take a bow.Awesome, stellar, mindblowing, out of the box.All the adjectives will be an understatement

Hats off to Mr Anirudh Pathak for giving Indian Television something it really needed.👏👏

It was different in several levels. Right from the opening credits.
The contrasts
1. Their expressions
2. Dialog delivery
3. Body language. His was gentle, hers ready to slash
What stood out
No unnecessary dramatics
To the point
The fight sequence was as good as a movie

Here we meet again. Us and our love for the historical shows. Every time we say we won't watch any new one but end up watching it anyhow. 🤣

I quite liked the first epeisode. Enjoyed the powerful Mrinal. I liked her entry and how she fought in the battlefield. She is living for revenge. No more interested in music and arts, no more the lively person she used to be and has stopped believing in love. And Prithvi who believes in love and is interested in arts is quite opposite her but so much same at the same time. Because she once was like him. This will probably bring them close and I am eagerly waiting to see that. 😆 Even if I liked the character, her pain and anger was too imposing on us and I didn't like it that much. So I hope she shows more her warrior side than the dukhyiari aatma. 😆

I on the contrary didn't like the fact that Prithvi fought alone with the Africans. He is no less than a superhero. 🤪 That too the Africans who were mentioned as strong fighters. 😆 What were his sainiks doing ? Chanting to encourage him. 🤪

Yes I liked the fact that they used a translator. But I guess they had just short scenes that's why, not like any other shows where the Macedonians and Greeks are permanent in the shows. 😆

And I don't know how was the quality of the episode on TV but online it was way too yellowish. I hope they will change it. 😕

I already don't like Tailap's wife and I think he wll get brainwashed by her. 🥱

Ashi that is such a well written post!! 👍🏼
My thoughts on the episode are quite similar to u. Like u said they didn't take much time to introduce the leads, that was subtle 😛

The editing etc was like a short film so yeah I really enjoyed it.

Hi ashi, nice post.

The show took off really well. The revenge seeker Mrinal and full of life, calm n composed Prithvi, definitely a worth watch duo. The story, cast and execution, everything is good. Apart from these, what I like the most is the voiceover narrating story. That is too good.

Hoping for a mind blowing show in the future

Cheers
