You know my friend discovered a very interesting thing in Kismat (she watched it much later just before the videos disappeared)!!!!!😊 😊 😊

I had a huge crush on him when he entered as Shiv in Mahi Way.But Aditya Raj Merchant was a class apart👏👏He was as good as William Kane the character on whom he was based with a unique touch of his own.And he used to shine in every scene he was in.Be it with Kabir,Sapna or Vasudha.

Kismat was one of the finest Indian series ever.Actually all the YRF shows were a class apart.I have seen each and every one of them.Be it Mahi Way,Seven,Rishta.Com,Kismat,Powder,Khotey Sikkey,etc.

It's sad we will never get shows like those again.

@bold,This.This is something which I could never understand 😕Why are these girls so obsessed with changing such men?? Wouldn't it be easier to just get out of the relationship?? I saw a preview of the new show on Sony Jeet Gayi Toh something.The guy forcefully marries the girl and she says that she will change him from rakshas to insaan

Is she an idiot?? Is it that easy to change a jerk?? In that case all the criminals should be married off to decent girls instead of being punished.

And often people use the Beauty and the Beast example to justify such pairings.Sadly the concept of Beauty and the Beast is entirely misunderstood.In the movie the guy only looks like a beast.Otherwise he is very gentle and caring towards the girl.He never misbehaves with her.Belle is able to see that beneath the ugly face of the beast there is a genuine man.

But in our shows' case it's exactly the opposite.The guys are extremely good looking from outside but their nature is like that of a beast.And the best thing for any girl will be to stay away from such people.

I know a show like Kismat won't be succesful in today's era when Saas Bahu,Daayans,Makkhis are ruling

If PYPCK gone in those shows category then V would kidnapped and imprisoned CK in Chunargarh after she stopped him from killing Maan Singh. Then he would torture her everyday a long with his father. CK would find out that due to his father, V is like this so she would have her mission of changing V and exposing his father's true face to him😆. Then months after V changing intro good guy, SD would enter as a new villain whom Marich would reveal as a real son to ChaVi and then arrange CK's marriage with SD to hurt ChaVi. And also a vamp planted by Marich would enter to seduce V and marry him. If ChaVi still remained together then Marich would play CK's mother card and threaten ChaVi to leave other and marry different people he has decided. ChaVi would agree to save RG. Then during double wedding, RG would turn into Kaali Maa and rush to stop both the weddings😆. This plot goes in almost every shows to itna to imagine kar hi sakti hu🤣. I am glad this not happened in this show varna ye show iss forum is koi member nahi dekhta tha.

Even I hate when JGTPM is compared with Beauty And The Beast. Beast had never tortured Beauty and he let her go home when she wanted. The makers also copied the title logo of the show with the animated logo of Beauty And The Beast movie😡. Shows like Kismat, Vaidehi and Beintehaa are always underrated even though their stories different and watchable. Surprisingly, the show which gets the lowest TRPs gets the highest ranking on IMDb ratings😊.

Abhishek Awasthy who played Ahmed will replace deceased Arjit Lavania as Nandi in Mahakaali. Either he will manage both the shows or he will replaced for Nazim.

I never went into Devki ji's real novel of Chandrakanta but knew a lil bit of plot from wiki and from my mother who is an ardent admirer of the novel... by far i came to know i feel that its one of the rare jewels of Indian classic literature which can even give tough competition to movies like LOTR if its presented in its purest form... I really wanted to read the book whenever time permits me in my busy life...

as a neutral viewer who seeks for good story content and acting like searching water in deserts of ITV😆😆... My opinion for Ektakanta is that... its purely horrible... in terms of everything... production value, story, plot everything... Nothing could be found in that serial which can draw people's attention... and not only me... my mother who is a ardent admirer of chandrakanta novel has admitted her dislike towards the show openly..//

Life OK's chandrakanta is anyday over it.. it has class and also good acting... sad thing is that the show is too much ahead of our time... and also came to a less popular channel... and unfortunately couldn't survive the cruel rigged trp system...

though i am happy about one thing Ektakanta still didn't have any sky piercing trps... like being in the top in trp charts... in fact its comparably less now for a prime time slot... that show was mostly favorable to the actors fan who watch the show only for him... what to say... its their life their choice... I am the rare case who couldn't even take any craps due to theoir favs 😆😆... show's content should be interesting along with watchable presentation and good actors...

I truly wish if some production house could have made CK novel with very small improvisation needed then would have really enjoyed watching.. DD's CK i saw at very early stage of childhood which i didn't remember much... but heard that even it also deviated from real story...

You don't know how rare it is to find someone who has watched Kismat!!!!😆 😆 😆

Most have never heard of it inspite of it being aired at 10.30 pm on Sony!!!!

I know about Vaidehi as my sister had watched it!!!!😊

It was obvious that there was going to be another hero!!!!

Things were not so bad back then and another thing was the hero was not just a jerk but he was impotent too!!!

So they had to get another hero!!!!

They made another show Rakt Sambandh where the main female lead's husband was a eunuch!!!!

Kismat wasn't successful back then also Juhi!!!!😔 😔 😔 😔

Though it was made from a book, they had made a lot of changes to fit it better into Indian context!!!😊 😊 😊 😊

The book starts from 18th April 1906 while Kismat starts from 15th August 1947, both cases the date when the two male protagonists are born!!!

Being set in post-independent India gives a better backdrop to the story!!!

But they never drifted very far from the main story!!!!

Kumkum Bhagya is nothing like Sense and Sensibility and Jane Austen would turn in her grave seeing it!!!!🤢 🤢 🤢 🤢

I have read about the novel and from what I could see Abel is the stronger character of the two!!!!😛

But in Kismat, Kabir's struggles make him the more important one initially but then Adi owns it all the way!!!!👏 👏 👏 👏

I tried to watch Seven but the supernatural stuff was too much!!!

I agree Kismat is the best Indian show in the last 20 years!!!!👏 👏 👏 👏 👏

But since they didn't get TRPs rather than making rubbish shows Aditya Chopra stopped making them altogether!!!!

The videos were official Sony videos and Sony took them away!!!!
