Ali and Sara go separate ways - article

It's a world where relationships last no longer than the next new year and that's what seems to have happened with the 'newly' married couple Sara Khan and Ali Mercchant. The latest news is that Sara-Ali have gone separate ways.

The couple who was in a relationship had reportedly tied the knot almost three years ago but did an encore on the game show Bigg Boss where Sara was a participant. Though they denied having been married earlier the grapevine buzzed that they were indeed man and wife much before they got married on the show. And now after Sara was evicted from the show and back to being with Ali news comes in that they have gone their separate ways. TellyChakkar tries to find out what went wrong…

We spoke to a source close to Sara who revealed, "While Sara was in the Bigg Boss house Ali handled her funds irresponsibly. This was something that Sara just couldn't take well as she was disturbed by the way her partner of three years had handled her funds. So now they have mutually agreed to split though they haven't got divorced yet."

An industry insider requesting anonymity says, "It's been three years since they have been married and they have been living together ever since. Everybody in the industry knows that for a matter of fact. We really do not know as to why they got married again on national TV. I think the channel will have a better answer to this. But, their relationship was fragile and most of the people who knew them could tell that something was amiss."

Sara's official spokesperson Swati Chopra confirms, "It's a personal matter but yes it's very true Sara and Ali are not together anymore. After she got back from the Bigg Boss house she found a lot of things and was hurt and she took this decision. That's all we can say."
