The episode starts with Shyamji on the phone odering sweets for Pratigyas engagement. Pratigya comes and asks Nainaji what to cook for dinner, Nainaji tells her and asks Arushi to help her, Arushi tells Nainaji that she is busy preparing her stuff for the engagement. Nainaji asks the Grandma whether the list is fine and if any other names need to be added so she can send of the invitation cards so relatives recieve them on time. Nainaji gives the list to Shyamji, Shyamji tells her she made his job easier and now all he has to add to the list is his friends as eelatives are done. Adarsh comes back, Nainaji asks him whether he dropped Rohli safely and tells him in the morning he will have to go get items for the pooja. Adarsh gives Nainaji money for Pratigyas wedding, Nainaji asks him how he got the money as he told her he couldn't get money out of the bank the other day, Adarsh tells her his friend lent him money and not to worry.

The next morning, Nainaji goes into Pratigyas room with the Arti to wake Arushi up and give her the arti, Pratigya comes from the shower and takes the arti. Nainaji gives Pratigya Haldi and tells her to put it on her, Pratigya tells her that when Rohli will come she will put it on for her. Their maid comes, Nainaji tells her good thing that she has come as there is a lot of work to do and gives her a job to do. The Grandma doesn't like it and tells Nainaji that she only does a little work and takes a lot of money. Nainaji tells the Grandma that it is a wedding house and a lot of work needs to be done so they need her.

Krishna is worried walking up and down thinking what is going on. Chandu tells Krishna, Angad is coming, Krishna wonders what he is doing here. Angad tells Krishna that he heard he is in a problem so came to help, Tunna tells Angad everything. At Saxena house, Rohli comes and puts Pratigyas haldi on for her, Pratigya tells her she is scared, Rohli tells her not to worry as Nitin will keep her happy and and nothing will happen everything will be fine. On the other side, Shyamji and Adarsh are at Ripa Hall preparing for Pratigyas engagement. Krishna comes and asks the manager outside what is going on, he tells Krishna that an Engagement is going to happen here. Angad thinks to himself if Krishna finds out it is Pratigyas engagement, his game will be ruined. Krishna asks who's booked the hall, the manager tells him someine called Jagmohon. Angad comes and tells Krishna he told him that there is someone elses engagement happening here.

At Saxena house, Pratigya comes out of the shower, Arushi tells her that she looks really pretty after putting the haldi on. Pratigya tells her that she also looks pretty, Rohli agrees to Pratigya and says obviously Arushi would look pretty as she has used the whole facemask on her face, and they start laughing. Rohli then tells Pratigya she will leave and see her later. Everyone is ready and leave to go to the hall, the Grandma tells Arushi that they can get changed there. Krishna comes outside Shyamjis house and constantly calls the housephone where no one picks up. At the hall, all the guest are arriving and Shyamji and Adarsh are greeting them, Nitin and his family come they ask where Pratigya and Nainaji are. Shyamji tells them that Nainaji is somewhere here and Pratigya is getting ready.

Upstairs in a room Pratigya is getting ready, they forget to bring her shoes so Nainaji calls up the maid and tells her to bring them as soon as possible. She leaves the house, and Krishna sees her. He goes up to her and the maid tells him that the groom is here, not even ready yet everyone is gone to the hall if your not there and ready how will the engagement happen. Krishna is shocked hearing this.
