Karthik waited for the permission of the girl's father , as K did when he wanted to marry P ... there is nothing wrong or stupid in that ... but yeah komal knew that her loser of father n brother won't allow her to be happy rather they would kill her for their false pride , so she took the decision ... n karthik loved komal , so there is no question of denying her ...
from SS' reaction to karthik's words , he seemed affected n as K rightly said SS would have accepted karthik, if not soon , but not late ... its only KN who will be ranting ...
as for KN escaping jail , he has been CVs fav ... he escaped jail many times ... good people like prof n P have this nature to forgive b forget what others do to them ... here karthik was the victim n he decided not to pursue further ... just as P had been victim so many times n still she decided to forgive them ... moreover only komal n SS know that KN did it , all others r thinking that SS did it , so may be karthik don't want to disrespect SS(his wife's father n chinki's grandfather) by sending him to jail , courtesy ,may be ...
