Dear CVs,
I hv always appreciated ur efforts to raise social messages in a very emphatic manner & I still maintain the same attitude in all my comments. Let there be no doubt that u hv achieved a fair level of success too in ur primary goal, thanks to the great acting skills of SS, SDS, Arushi & Krishna in particular. This is not to say that the rest hv not done well ... Tanmay, Menka, Komal, Adarsh, Chandu, Tunna, Pratigya n even Piyasiya hv been impressive in their own unique ways. Besides these, another thing that attracted me towards the show was the feel of reality in the story line. But it is disappointing to mention that the strengths of the show suffered a blow when u started complying with the unjust demands of a small cross section of the audience who missed ur social message altogether & instead misinterpreted the show as a kind of romantic story. CVs, I m sorry to say that ur ideas of kriya romance r making us cringe to the core. It's not that we r averse to the idea of romance but the real thing is that ur selection of romantic scenes does not suit a couple who hv been married for many years. U know, lovemaking can be a TRP raiser only if corresponds with the age of the couple ... like kriya romance had a magic effect in the beginning i.e; around the time of their SR b'coz kriya were a newly wed couple then & all of us wanted to see them doing naughty things. But compare the response of general viewers to kriya romance today n u'll find a sea change ... the same romance really sucks now as no one wants to see 'buddhe-budhia ka pyar'. And when u show them making childish love, the show sucks even more ... it literally degrades to a romantic comedy of errors. IMO, SP audience hv every right to ask for scenes which differ from those being shown on CN or Pogo. In fact, our demand for showing Tanshi romance is only to bridge the gap created by the senescing Kriya. Tanshi are in the appropriate age group to be shown dancing round the trees. Please show more of Tanshi romance. I'm sure the sensational looks of Arushi coupled with perfect Tanshi chemistry can set the idiot box ablaze.
Coming to the 'message' part of the show, I hv had certain objections to what has been shown so far. In case of Arhan, I did'nt like the way CVs showed his approach to Pratigya's kidnap & his concern for ensuring her virginity. How would Arhan react if Pratigya had actually been misused by Angad??? In fact, I wanted to see Arhan accepting Pratigya uncoditionally, without making her virginity a point. CVs, u hv really missed the opportunity that could hv given a moral boost to unfortunate girls who hv been through sexual assaults & hv been discarded by the society. How is Krishna's stance towards the raped girls different from the disgusting attitude of the masses? Similarly, I liked certain decisions of Pratigya very much e.g; her motherly attitude towards Samar, her support for Kesar & her handling of the thakurs. On the other hand, I hated some of her absurdities too. For example, even though she was justified in trying to prevent Aman-Arushi marriage yet it was her wrong modus operandi that put Aman on alert & enabled him to emerge victorious. What was the outcome of this foolishly monoeuvered move? Not only did Aman escape unscathed but the life of Arushi was also ruined. As far as Pooja's talent is concerned, I'm pretty convinced that the girl who started her reel life as a side kick in KMH has come a long way. She is acting well n getting better with the passage of time.
I hope that u would pay attention to our demands (in a forum of 40 members my opinion represents the pov of 2.5% of the forum..lol) & make some drastic changes in ur priorities. My views r sloely meant for u & to serve the purpose of constructive criticism. I don't expect people to hv their personal axes to grind about it.
Long live MKAP.
