Kesar wandered around the courtyard of of Thakur Nivas. Shakti promised to unite Samar with Kesar. But cruel that he was, he just disappeared. Leaving poor Kesar all alone.
It was 11 pm and Krishna had not yet returned home. Samar was playing with the train set his Chachu gifted him. Pratigya entered the room with a glass of milk.
"Here you go Son."
Samar- "Mamma, Chachu kahan hai?"
Pratigya- "Beta, Chachu abhi nahi aaye hai. "
Samar- "kab ayenge?"
Pratigya- "bas thodi dher mein ayenge. Drink ur milk"
Samar gulped down all the milk. Although he disliked it, he didnt complain. He didnt want to upset Pratigya.
"Mamma, could you read this story?", said Samar pointing towards his 'Bed time' Story book. Pratigya smiled and laid down beside him. Samar cuddled close to his Mamma and looked at her blinking his chocolate brown eyes.
But before Pratigya could start, Samar had already fallen asleep. Pratigya looked lovingly at her little angel and placed a soft kiss on his cheek. She carefully pulled the blanket over him and slowly went out to complete her other work.
Kesar who was waiting for an opportunity to meet her son crept inside. Tears flew down as she saw her son fast asleep on the bed. She admired him. He looked so cute. Without wasting any time she carried Samar and walked out. Samar was fast asleep. He had no idea of what was happening. Kesar wanted to get out of TN, but seeing Krishna entering she ran upstairs to her room.
Pratigya was in the kitchen. Krishna silently approached her from behind.
"Babu.." he placed a soft kiss on her neck.
Pratigya was mad at him- "ur late"
Krishna- "ermm.. I.. I knw. But tumho toh jaanti ho humra kaam bhi toh zaroori hai."
Pratigya- "haan.. Tumhare liye toh kaam hi important hai. Biwi toh.."
but before she could complete, they heard Samar's cries.
Pratigya- "Samar"
both of them rushed to their room only to find Samar missing. Krishna marched towards the terrace. Hearing the commotion, everyone came out of their room. SS was furious as he was disturbed from his deep slumber.
All of them were shocked when they saw Samar running towards Pratigya with tears in his eyes. Following him was Kesar with a long rope in her hand.
