I hv a rather long story to share...u will be surprised to know that till 2010, I was the worst enemy of SP shows...I did'nt allow anybody to hv a glance at this channel...I was so rigid in my stance b'coz i just hated the saas-bahu based serials...I used to watch discovery, natgeo & music channels most of the time...Then one fine day during march 2010, my mom was watching the 11:00 am repeat telecast of MKAP...I remember that sajjan was in the frame & was carrying non-veg food for komal to mumfordganj...my mom insisted me to watch the serial just for 5 min...initially I shrugged the idea & kept busy on my PC...believe me sajjan's perfect dialogue delivery & his amazing command on the nuances of allahabadi dialect left me spellbound...that was the first time I was watching the SP for 16 min at a stretch...I told mom that i liked the show...then I watched the 10:30 pm telecast that day...by the next day, I was in love with the show...Krishna's attitude, pratigya's grace, arushi's looks, amma's tantrums ...I was desperate to appreciate each n everything abt the show...everyone in my home was surprised to see a sudden change in my liking...the story at that time was revolving around angad-krishna-pratz triangle...I did'nt know what was the story behind the kidnapping of pratz...I was so anxious to watch all the missed episodes but had no idea where to find then...then while making a vague search for previous episodes I accidentally came across india-forums & also saw clips on YT...OMG I had mssed around 80 episodes...Then I was busy watching these missed episodes till june 2010... u can't believe how many times I watched each & every episode...What I appreciated most in the show was its perfect cast...in my view each n every actor delivered his/her best in the show...besides, this is the only show that mixes entertainment with social issues so well...my love for MKAP is unconditional ...I can sacrifice anything for this show...
Since then I hv been one of the most loyal viewers of MKAP...I can't handle any criticism of this show to date...
Nowadays I m feeling sad for MKAP because actors r leaving the show & it seems to be approaching its end...
But my addiction for the show is so intoxicating that I can never hv enough of MKAP...
I hv done many weird things for watching the show like:
1. Not attending to any calls at the show time...
2. Rescheduling my appointments just to ensure I don't miss the show..
3. Started talking to people in krishna/sajjan style, just for fun
4. Buying quarrels with people on india-forum just to negate criticisms of the show...
5. Writing posts regularly on forum...
6. Prohibited watching bigg boss season 5 when it clashes with pratigya...
& so on
