Some level of compromising is accepted but when the CVs go far beyond, it is painful for us to watch them. After Pratigya and Krishna' s character, the level they degraded SS character made me completely stop watching the show.

A track like mumbai track and a friend of P meeting Kriya was a long-wished track of viewers but the way they made K behave is not what many of us like.

But Bharathi... just for discussion...don't tk me wrong dears... I felt K is a free spirited man n doesn't wear a mask to hide his real enthu n feelings... So he ws in his skin of his character... I remember this is how he behaved whn he went to take a spl shirt to meet P b4 marriage... I'm wondering why u guys felt he ws behaving as a baffoon... but for me too i felt bad... tht is bcos we luv him too much...

Just think if P also feels the same abt him.. what wud happen.. or is she tried to shut him down... tht wud also be an insult to him... Thank God P ws not doin anything like tht... I luv her fortht.. K was K.. for me... he ws a child like enthusiastic.. openly telling what he feels inside.. thts what we all luv him for..

Hope i'm not hurting in my words... Bharathi... this is not only for u.. but all of us including me...😉😃

CVs making a very fundamental mistake... they are equating illiteracy with buffoonery...

My granny was not educated ... she barely studied primary school... but she was one the most mature, sharp and wise individuals...

In last week's episodes... not only are the CVs forcibly making the viewers watch unnecessary side characters scenes , but they have reduced the male lead to a buffoon...

One of the worst scenes was when Krishna is shocked at girls short clothes and kissing couples on the beach... c'mon now CVs... K covering P's eyes to avoid her seeing them ???? Is K sooo illiterate that he doesn't know how people live in high-rise buildings ??? Is this the MALE LEAD of your show or a comic side character ????

What happened to the sharp and cool Krishna who was shown at the beginning of MKAP...

No wonder the TRPs are falling...

Uma 👏Exactly...Krishna was always street smart... not this bumbling/screeching caricature the CV's are bent on showing us

TRP's will pick up when CV's realised that Krishna Singh Thakur is the MALE lead of the show and show that he is an illiterate man, with an educated wife...who knows what he is... rather focusing on making wild assumptioms about how a illetrate person behaves in Mumbai..

My dadi was a fifth passout too...and she got married to my dadaji...who was Calcutta district court judge.,...before that a lawyer in British Raj Lawyer...she held her own among the goras😆...she didnt cover my granpa's eyes when she saw them air kissing or giving a quick peck on the cheek...and that was in the 40's

Krishna in Mumbai behaving like this...am sorry to say...the CV's have Badly goofed up

uma , nice post, but i don't think the CVs r equating illiteracy to bafoonary ... for one thing K is content in his illiterate status n is proud of it ...n his behavior is like a straight forward -in-ur-face, what's-in-mind-its-in-mouth type one ...he has never gone outside Allahabad...n also haven't seen such high rise buildings except in films...when he was sitting in taxi too he was wondering aloud at the buildings...n when he got a chance to go n stand right under one such building her really was excited n wondered aloud again...

even i know of many persons who r graduates/post graduates but who went to dubai n other countries or even mumbai from kerala going on n on about the high rise buildings over the world...and they talked about so many other things which surprised them or shocked them ... even my teacher(university) who took us to goa was doing exactly the same with us , trying to block our view , shooing all of us away from certain tourists who were openly kissing ...so it is done everywhere ...

i don't find K behaving as a bafoon...rather he is behaving as a man new to certain surroundings...who is experiancing a sort of cultural shock...who is trying out n seeing new things...like K very clearly told he only eats gulab jamun, chai, n daal-roti...he hasn't heard of pastry or any other western dishes...n he don't want to try other things or change his likes...its only bec P insisted , he ate pastry...n his reaction was typical of him as he said i don't care about it ...or precisely as he said he doesn't care about matters that don't interest him...isn't this the K that we have seen from the start of the show...he reacts to circumstances...in his own way...here we may find it awkward bec he is being watched by the so called civilized people n is surrounded by such people...he is perfect in his surroundings where he is not questioned or is not expected to behave in a certain manner...but when he gets to unfamiliar surroundings or environment which demands some what different behavior , he can't do that, bec he has his limitations... we have seen him behaving like this when he went to buy a shirt , when he went to ate in a restaurant n when he went to become a model... his straight n honest outburst when all others were talking in english was superb...it showed that K still is the master of his own...he does n talks what he feels ...without any holding back...

well luvly post, but the fact is that there r people like this who behave like krishna did...
even my dadi watches movies n everything, but wen she came to holland n saw girls dressed up too shortly, she was like OH MY GOD WATS THIS, u know wat i mean...she was like lets go from here...
so i dont think cvss r making a mistake by showing us that...
i know many poeple who r like that...n its not sumthing wrong...even my mum dusnt let us watch scenes which r not suitable to watch with a family even if u r an adult...i also feel insecured wen i watch such scenes with my parents or siblings...i also change the channel if such a scene is shown on tv
n i feel krishna did the same, its not about being non educated, but its about shame which sum people carry, that they dont like to see with their family members...(ps dont get offended, i dont want to say that people who dont think like me, hav no shame or what, but just telling the point of view of krishna n mayb even myself n my family members...)

Ya very good posts people. ya cv's r not showing krishna as jawar or anything. see like many said i also feel ashamed when i see people kissing in public park or something. i am married and have 2 kids still when sometimes friends ask abt personal things i cann;t say. i just smile. see tht is only for telling. so i can pretty much understand it. now krishna is new to city. he will be like that. did u see prats was also looking stunning at the buildings. for her also it was new eventhough she went to lucknow for her education. so it is just the way u take it. it is different for everyone. it doesn;t depend u r educated or not educated it is the way u think and u bought up.

My view.. I completely disagree!
The CVs are painting a very realistic picture!

Was K ever well groomed b4 this incident"/ He never damned to care about what others will think about him or his behaviour..its always what he intends to say or do...his frankness forms the basic character of K.

It was during their first honeymoon that he beat a stranger black n blue jsut coz he shook hands with his wife. But in stead of being quite talkative he was angry...madly angry. Just coz ana ngry looking K is handsome does that make him groomed or civilized..

He wants to open a restaurant..he wants to know some things..he asked the waiter thats all...this was K we ahve been seeing all along never caring about others to say wat he wants.

The icing on the cake was P looking him with a smile..coz she knows him better than the other two who were with them..

I jsut thoroughly enjoyed the scene.

K's behaviour so far in Mumbai has been all in character...He speaks his mind and says what he feels and those actions might look as a baffoon to many and many of us may think twice to do what he does..

But the beauty of his character is that he does not give a damn what others think about him or how he behaves in front of someone..It is a good quality to have because we as educated people think too much of what others may say or judge and wont act in a certain way...

Neelima's character is like that and her uneasiness in seeing K behave this way showed for her that K's behaviour lacked etiquette and was not civilised behaviour.. Where Neelima judged K, K accepted Neelima and Abhishek without passing judgement...

Here education has not helped Neelima, IMO by having misconception about K..

As for going ga ga over tall buildings and mumbai in general he has been more vocal whereas P has been constrained in her response which makes it seem that K is acting like a village idiot and not P...That is the only difference between the 2...

To me it is less to do with K but rather to do with our own thinking of civilised behaviour and what we consider civilised behaviour..
