Maan Ki Awaaz Pratigya

Pratigya is an unique story of a strong woman who goes to any length to fight her rights. It is the narrative of Pratigya, a middle-class girl who fights against the stigma and prejudice against women, prevailing in the Indian society. It is showcased on Star Plus at 10.30 pm.

Pratigya is a simple but smart girl, born and brought-up in an educated family where her father provided her the same privileges and education as her brother. On the other hand Krishna, is an illiterate who does not have any regard for the importance of education. But when he marries Pratigya, he later comes to understand her wife and works to earn his own living. Pratigya fights for the truth; changes her mother-in-law who used to hate her earlier.

Currently it is showing that the father-in-law of Pratigya, Thakur Sajjan Singh has been romancing a 20 year girl, and lying his whole family marries Ganga. Ganga transforms into the new thakuraain. In spite of Pratigya and Krishna taking grave steps in stopping Sajan Singh to remarry a young girl, they fail to do so. Hope the serial takes a better turn ahead so that the track sustains longer.
