This incident reminds me of a recent Bangalore Mirror article. I was shocked and scared too.

Just curious ...
Has any study proved conclusively the linkage between media violence and aggressive behavior?

Yep thanks b2011,

Similarly current turmoil in UK is one glaring example of the class war fare. Leading the world to a dangerous place, where even educated and sensible people are so much frustrated with lack of opportunity and resources that they are not even bothering about the law and order and subsequent consequences. Sad.

It is a common excuse given by some criminals that they have been inspired by a particular movie or show.

Don't you watch any news channel, media is playing the key role in molding peoples mind. Media is not only showing stuff in an irresponsible manner but making money selling such stuff . 😕

Just illegally download movies on the Internet like I do if you want to "learn" from a movie. Also girls now should pay half and half. If she doesn't want to, ask her to cook for you. I swear some kids

they show many things in dramas/movies...but people shouldnt get influenced by the negative things😕

Hello Sam,

I believe that every person has a choice that she or he makes in one point of their life. No matter the reason they give, the choice is made by the individual solely. Yes, time and again research has proved that media directly or indirectly do play a role in the lives of individuals who do not know how to distinguish between right or wrong.
But, shows like Pratigya should take responsible in showing positive consequences. MKAP has always glorified criminals without any consequences. The protagonist of the show has no power or has been unable to change anything , not even her husband.
