Chapter 43

It was weekend and time for the success party. Arhaan was getting ready and this time he had already planned that he will escape with Pooja out of the party so that they can spend time together alone. He was in a brown checkered shirt and denims. Pooja as usual took hours and hours took get ready. She was in satin dark purpled top and in pair of jeans.

They were on the venue and all were burning the dance floor. Arhaan and Pooja were giving interviews to various channels and Forum. In between Pooja got a call and it was from her Ad producers. She had got a chance to work in an Ad with a big star of silver screen. The producer said that the shoot had been postponed due to some unavoidable reasons. It was rescheduled to the last week of October. The third week was their marriage and she had promised not to work in any other shows other than MKAP. Arhaan came searching her and she was in the parking lot deeply in thought. Arhaan asked his driver to go home as he would come with Pooja.

He shaked her and she came to senses.

Arhaan: kis soch mein ho??

Pooja: kuch nahi… bas

Arhaan: achcha suno main khud hi na socha raha tha ki iss beed se bahar kaise nikale…. Chalo ab..

Pooja: par kahan??

Arhaan: chalo to sahi (and he quickly got into the driver seat).

Pooja (saw him get into the driver seat): arre.. tum wahan kahan bait rahe ho.. chalo iss taraf aao..

Arhaan: main teek hoon… achcha lagta hai kya ki girlfriend drive kare aur boyfriend side mein baite….

Pooja: tum aur tumhaare ye stupid logics na tum apne paas hi rakho….

Arhaan: tum meri baat maanthi hi nahi ho Rano…. (made a sad face)

Pooja: Oh.. Arhaan tum please aise buraa mat mano.. mujhe achcha nahi lage ga… (she pulled his cheeks and blew a kiss)

They drove off to a lonely park. Pooja all the way was lost in her thought. They were sitting on a bench. Arhaan kept hands on her thighs and asked her what happended.

Pooja: Arhaan.. wo mera ek Ad shoot tha na….

Arhaan: haan…. To

Pooja: wo postpone ho gaya…

Arhaan: iss mein kya hai??

Pooja: humaari shaadi ke baad… maine to dadi se vada kiya tha ki main koi bhi show nahi karoongi.. ab kya hoga?? I have committed both the sides..

Arhaan: itni si baat.. bas… dekho ye sab mujh par chod do main sambhaal loonga…

Pooja: par….

Arhaan: kuch nahi…. (keeping his finger on her lips) dekho ab tum ye serious baatein mat karo.. main yahan tumhaare saath kuch derr akela rehne aaya hoon..

Pooja: achcha….. (putting her hands around his neck and interlocking her fingers) do din pehle to aap ko darr tha humaare shaadi ko leke…. Itne saare confusions the.. ab mere saath akele waqt bitaane aaye ho…

Saying so, she took her hands and got up from the bench, turned away from him.

Arhaan: arre.. naaraz kyun ho rahi ho?? (hugging her from behind)

Pooja (trying to come out of his grip): chodo mujhe…

Arhaan made his grip tighter: main tumhe nahi chodne waala….. kya tum do din pehle ki baat leke bait gayi.. saara mood kharab kar rahi ho…

Pooja pushed him: to main mood kharab kar rahi hoon??

He turned her towards him: dekho Rano.. mujhe ek darr sa hai aur wahi maine tumhe batayaa tha.. tumse share nahi karoonga to aur kisse karoonga.. bolo..

Pooja: tum aise baat kar rahe the uss din…

Arhaan (stopped her): main tumhaare saath poori duniya dekhna chahtha hoon…. tumhaara saath chahiye mujhe poori zindagi…

Pooja: chalo chodo ye sab.. pata hai Arhaan uss din maine Vishal ko dekha tha.. wo wapas aa gaya hai…

Arhaan: to… hume usse kya lena dena…

Pooja: agar usne humaare liye problems create kiya to…

Arhaan: bekaar ki tension mat lo…

Pooja: arhaan achcha hoga ki hum sab kuch tumhaare ghar waalon bataa de… agar shaadi ke baad pata chala to unhe buhat buraa lage ga..

Arhaan: Vishal tumhaara past hai… usse koi lena dena nahi hai aur waise bhi usne tumhe cheat kiya hai… tumhaari koi galati nahi hai iss mein.. dekho Rano tum mujhse judne waali ho aur tumhaare baare sab kuch mujhe maloom hona chahiye… aur main sab jaanta hoon… bas baat khatam…

Pooja: par..

Arhaan: par war.. kuch nahi.. arre haan main to ek baat bolna hi bhool gaya… kal ka scene yaad hai tumhe.. wo bathing scene shoot kiya tha…

Pooja: haan to….. ek minute.. ab tum ye mat kaho ki tum aaj nahaaye nahi kyun ki kal maine tumhe uss scene ke liye nahaaya tha..

Arhaan: wah… sach mein kaise pataa chala tumhe..

Pooja: chi Arhaan.. tum bina nahaaye aise perfume spray kar ke aa gaye.. (she moved away from him)

Arhaan: nahaa tha kaise… nahaaoonga to phir kal ke tumhaari touchie touchie sab dhul jaata na….

Pooja: Oh my God.. pagal ho tum..

Arhaan came near and pulled her by her waist: stupid…. Maine kaha tumne maan liye…. Mujhe tum jaise lazy samajh rakha hai kya.. you know how clean I am…. (slightly pushing her forehead back)

Pooja: wahi to maine bhi kya kya soch liya… arre jhoot hi sahi usse maintain to kiya hota…. nilkul bhi unromantic ho tum…..

Arhaan: achcha… teek hai to ek kaam karo shaadi ke baad tum mujhe zyaada nahi weekly once tum mujhe nahaaogi…

Pooja: weekly once…

Arhaan: achcha teek hai… concession deta hoon monthly once…..

Pooja: monthly

Arhaan: ab dekho iss kam nahi hoga..

Pooja: mujhe lagaa tum weekly, monthly chodkar roz kahoge….

Arhaan: kehne hi waala tha par…

Pooja: par aisa nahi ho saktha…. (pushed him and rushed towards the car)

Arhaan was not going to leave her: ab kaun unromantic hai???? (caressing her cheeks….. they were so close that there was no gap even for air, like glue dto each other…. A finger gap distance between their lips)

Arhaan bend down and kissed her. She hugged him tightly and her hands going through his hair.
