FRACTIOUS, FAULTFINDING FIRSTBORNS

Tuesday's episode focuses primarily on fractious, fault finding, froward first born sons of the Takurs and Sax families and Takurs' favoite son.

FAVORITE FELLOW

SS insists that Krishna keep the money he earned but Krishna feels it's his bauji's for loaning him the money to start the business. SS sees no greater wealth in his life than Krishna and no greater joy for a father to see his son become a worthy man. The senior Takurs smile with pride, while the two sinister schemers KN and Kesamma share glances that emulate their jealous, hateful thoughts. Krishna and Prats get their blessings and embraces from Amma. GD congratulates Krishna for honoring his father and Kesar finds joy in their happiness. Amma hugging Krishna disturbs KN and gets off his seat looking like a growling bear. Neither SS nor Amma notice KN's reaction to their behaviors. KN is feeling like an unwanted child these days but does little to endear himself to the family at all. He always hitches his horse to the wrong wagon.😕

FEMALE FOURBERIE

Kesamma tells KN she's got her daughter Kesar married to him. Yeah right! Like KN wanted to marry her. If she had bothered to show up even once during all these years she'd have known the plight of Kesar's married life with someone like KN, an alcoholic, wife abusing, womanizer who has openly even recently insulted her with declarations of hatred ,like she needs to be reminded of it at all. It was a pure gold moment to see how Kesar ignores her mother and KN and walks away. She isn't the least bit curious to know what these two have up their sleeves with their sinister schemes that could hurt this Takur family?😕

FRAMING FOR FUNDS

Kesamma keys the unsuspecting dense KN up like a wind up today. She encourages him to get started with his business if he wants to keep the respect in the family. Not a bad suggestion but the intent behind it is what makes it suspect. Kesar is the one providing an heir to this family (that's a fact) but she's using it to show him the trump card to use to get his way. What little chance KN has of redeeming himself within the family for his past behavior is getting flushed down the toilet now that Kesamma has become his advisor. She wants to make sure the keys she uses her dimwit damadh to ensure the keys to the kingdom are within her reach.😡

FEET FAVORS

It's been just one day at work and Krishna has figured out the joy of hard work is like none other👏😆. Prats is glad Krishna sees it her way and decides to massage his feet. Sorry folks! But who else cringed at Prats's delivery of "you are my life partner" that sounded like a sound bite from a mini-baashan. Has she said it in a more easy going tone, it would have made up for the lack of romance shomance moments today. They are both somewhat seriously going for a little bit of friendly competition about fulfilling their pati/patni dharam.🤔 Hope Krishna doesn't become more and more like Prats😲. He has his own core personality and if he traded it in the short term, he'll start hating himself in the long run.

FOND FLIRTATION

Krishna praises Prats for knowing a lot about the law, rules of society, etc. and never failing to follow through on wifely duties is a hint to the day when Prats ban jayeee and bails her husband out of jail. Prats brushes off Krishna's praise''. Arey yaar Prats! At least once in a while learn to say "Thankoo" to your husband when he does those little things that matter and pays you a compliment. Learn to bank it for those days when you feel low and want to perk yourself up. 😕

FLATTERS FAITHFUL FEMININITY

Krishna salutes women and sings their praise for their capacity to love. Suddenly he is no longer feeling tired and is in the mood for some loving and Prats as usual doesn't play along. She's got to give up this formal attitude at least in the privacy of their room and learn to play along once in a while.For all the enthusiasm Krishna shows, Prats needs to let her hair down😛😉 and have fun. We know she literally lets her hair down, so now how about seeing her funny and happy side for a change, she is pretty boring at the moment.😕

FLAUNTING A FOURWHEELER

Adarsh is blaring the car horn outside the Green House but not one of the Sax women sitting in the living room is willing to stir from their lethargic poses🤔. Komal approaches the front door scolding the person who is disturbing their peace but forgets it all when she sees it's her husband behind the four-wheeler parked in front of the house. Adarsh still manages to keep a straight face😲. The Sax clan must have the belief that things go haywire when they are happy to do this da after day. Now SHE wants to honk the horn just to alert the neighborhood that they are now the proud owners of a brand new car. Komal behaves like a five year old excited about the rides at the carnival😆.

FRET AND FUSS

Naina is unhappy that Adarsh didn't mention he was going to buy a car. Oh Phleeeze! Don't you people in the Green House ever like a happy surprise? So what if he hasn't mentioned it, he didn't mention it to his wife either. Shamu walks out looking like at the car like it's a strange beast parked outside his house. Why is he disgusted at the idea of a new car? Is his concern for the loss of income for the rickshawalas the family hires for their use? Or has he begun to suspect that Adarsh is getting bribes that he can now afford a new car. Shamu's principled mind won't let him join the rest of the family so Naina too refuses Adarsh's offer of a ride in his new car.

FORTUNATE FAMILY

SS is off on his teerth yatra for four days. But Takurji a lot can happen in just four days under your roof. He is pleased Krishna is doing business, Kesar has patched up her marriage, potha is on his way, so things are on the right track. SS asks Goddess to keep an eye on his family while he is away.

FINAGLE FOR FUNDS

KN blocks SS path on his way out as he has something important to talk about. SS mocks KN that has enough brains to discuss anything. KN asks for money to start a business like Krishna😲. SS tells him to manage the business he's been involved in for years now where he's working on his own terms. SS pointedly looks at Kesamma and questions KN where such an idea spring from in his head or if he's been getting lessons from a certain someone? Leave it to SS to sniff the rats out no matter where they hide or stand around in plain sight.

FAULTFINDING FATHER-TO-BE

KN argues with everyone supporting Krishna and Prats and Amma going as far as giving Prats the keys to the kingdom. He is concerned he doesn't have two coins to rub together with a baby on the way so he is bent on starting his own business if he is thrown out of the Niwas. Genuine concern indeed! But why would SS throw him out now unless KN lands himself in some kind of unacceptable mischief against the family? SS scolds him "you can only think to the extent you have brains". In that case, KN's gray matter needs some recharging and fast at that, it's been idling for quite some time and draining what little work it can do for quite some time😛. He may be a brash bayil buddhi fella but he's not good at pulling the wool over SS's eyes. Sometimes you do feel for the guy who's a bit of a dimwit and ends up in trouble doing the wrong thing at the wrong time listening to himself and the wrong person. Right now, SS is the only person who has any control over him and that too bec' he has control over the purse strings.

FLINTY FATHER FOILS FAMILY FRACTURE

SS warns KN about wanting to split the family just when things are finally coming together. He tells his son to continue doing what he does well... intoxicating himself. Kesar sneaks a sideway glance fully aware her meddling mother is the one responsible for the looming rift within this family.

FATHER FORBIDS FRENZY AND FUROR

SS tells him to let things stay on course the way it's headed right down and not start any diraama. He tells KN he won't give him a penny and he can chose to do as he pleases. After driving home his point, he calms down long enough to remind KN to stay put for no, he will make a decision when he returns from his trip. SS also warns KN to keep the peace in the house. We know Mr. Bayil Buddhi will not follow through on SS's orders. Kesamma is going to make sure she sets her plan in motion to claim her gift upon SS's return. With Prats and Amma likely to be distracted with Adarsh and Krishna in jail, Kesamma is going to speed things up in her favor at the Niwas.

FEND OFF FEMALE FISTICUFF

KN explains he didn't follow SS as he is going on a yatra. Why didn't Amma accompany him like the last time? KN blames Prats for the family being after him. Who has been after him?😲😕 Delusion dude, wake up! They are all ignoring you like a bad penny that you are in favor of Krishna and Prats these days and you are mighty jealous of it as it is. Once SS leaves he announces to the family he is also a son of the house and has rights. If SS refuses to fork over the money for his business venture he will do whatever it takes to accomplish it even if it means splitting up the family. This riles Amma to the point that she curses him and challenges him about wanting to break up the family. She already knows Kesamma is behind the mischief so why doesn't she go to the source of the problem to give her a few choice words to put her in her place? But a recent such pushback hasn't seemed to done much to dampen this shameless woman's greed. SS is shrewd and has already indicated he's aware of her behind the scene machinazaitons. GD, Krishna, Kesar and Amma are stunned at his words. Kesamma is the only one who is smiling with satisfaction. Don't count your chickens before they hatch, greedy brew maker😡. Amma raises her hand to strike KN but he grabs her hand and warns her he's done taking the physical abuse from anyone anymore. Good for him! Ever since Kesamma showed up in town he's gotten tougher except in the presence of SS. He hates his wife but cozies up to his sasuma, strange indeed! He knows he's at his bauji's mercy when it comes to money right now so for now he is being behaves like the obedient son. Krishna steps in and reminds him not to face off with his mother. Is he planning to compete with SS or Krishna? Why is SS reluctant to loan him money to start his own business? Fear of competition or does he see KN as an incompetent business who needs to be managed?

FRETFUL FEMALE

There we go! Now we know who could be instigating a mess in Krishna's life. The rat named Raade may create trouble for Krishna that lands him in jail all due to the mechanizations of KN who's being puppetered by Kesamma. Will Kesar step in and do the right thing or will she wimp out and let her mother and KN wreak havoc in her sasural's home? If things go wrong she and her mother could well be out on the streets broke and nowhere to go. Will she stand by and watch the casualties due to her inability or unwillingness to step up to the plate for once in her life and do the right thing if not for the SS and Amma at least for GD, Krishna and Prats's sake? As the saying goes "when someone saves your life, they own yours for life?" Let's see how Kesar measures up this time. She gets yet another opportunity to prove she is no doormat or puppet but has the strength to stand up and do the right thing.

Preview: FRACTIOUS FELLOW

So Adarsh has finally decided to speak his mind, has he?🤔 He accuses Shamu who's lips are trembling listening to his son accuse him of jealousy and nothing more more than a preacher of principles which doesn't translate into today's reality. He tells Shamu to let him live his life his way. Yo Adarsh! In Shamu's defense, as boring and rigid as he is in adapting to life and stuck on his principles, why blame him for the way you've been living your life so far? You have always done things your way when you chose to. Did you ask Shamu or any other family member's permission when you proposed to Komal? Did you ask Shamu Papa's permission when you pulled a knife on Krishna, went after Angad with a cycle chain or more recently decide to take bribes at work? So why raise the issue of jealousy and failure on Shamu's part to show you the proper way to live life? Adarsh tells Shamu to stuff his principles😲. Of course these haughty words had to be said before the guillotine came down on him and he is hauled away to jail. Must be a small potato when it comes to demanding bribes, he's only managed a car so far? He is inexperienced in the corrupt world, nervous and fretting the day he's caught red handed. He didn't manage to get Komal the things she's been dreaming of. With SS out of town, he's going to be sharing a jail cell with his saale sahib for a few hours. Will the two saale sahibs end up singing Jailhouse Rock?😉 Now that would be worth watching given their ishstyles are worlds apart.😛

I felt sorry for KN too. There is such a contrast in the way the two Takur boys are being treated. Krishna got loads of love and hugs, praises and blessings from GD, SS and Amma. KN got a poke and an earful from SS followed by a curse and threat to smack from Amma. GD didn't say a word and left without a word. She has still not forgiven KN for burying Kesar alive.

SS was on to Kesamma's games and made it a point to alert her to his awareness of it. But in the long run it may not work in SS's favor. The old fool has already committed to give the greedy girl a gift of her asking and she's going for the whole kit-n-kaboodle. She wants the keys that Takurain is carrying around. Little does Kesamma know that wanting what's rightly belongs to another never gave anyone joy in life. It brings with it a whole truck load of misery.

KN is another fool for listening to Kesamma. She will lead him down the path where he ends up giving her all his money if he manages to get his share from SS and finds himself in deep waters. It will be Prats ban jayeee and Krishna's big heart that might give him a second lease on life. Or he may move into the Niwas and throw his family out. But long term KN is the one who will come back with his tail tucked between his legs back to his bauji. He's seriously lacking in thinking skills and almost always comes up with the dumbest plans one can think of. No wonder SS never lets him make any important decisions. SS loves KN in his own way, which was apparent in the way he chided and tried to reason with KN today in an ebb and flow way. Just bec' he yells at his son doesn't mean he loves him less.

Pratigya helped K turn from bad (or at the very least indifferent) to better - true she had to take a bullet in order for him to learn, but he appears to have done so.

KN never expected to see this reformed K or predicted the huge adulation in his parents for this reform and most of all the turncoat that his Amma appears to have become.

All of a sudden - he is very isolated and that makes him gullible, possibly even vulnerable. Enter Kesamma and the rest is history...

Its not enough to say SS loves him - sure if he was hurt, or in trouble - SS would help, but then he did the same for Piyasiya too when he had too, and she is the servant of the house...

Parents like SS who have this "tough love" thing with some of their children need to understand the damage they also do by differentiating between their kids - and KN is a classic: outward strong, strapping and all macho man, but inside insecure as hell because actually he just wants to be loved by his Dad, more so than his Mum even for whom KN showed his contempt by calling her a moorakh. He would never say that about SS.

I must confess to not having seen the epi yet - so maybe some of what I say is giving KN too much credit...

KN is a horrible man, an abuser, a wife batterer and almost a wife murderer, he is has many misogynistic tendencies and is a jealous man to boot...

Ask yourself honestly - who is to blame?

I know who I think it is...

I truly believe that any person can reform - if they have only one person behind them to love them - that one person who means the world, for whom you'd do anything - is usually the same person who denied you their love in the first place.

For K that was P, coz he had loads of parental love...

More than anything the jail cell meeting of the saale sahibs will be the scene worth watching.😆 Krishna won't spare uppity Adrash and his goody two shoes attitude. Krishna already said something's fishy since Adarsh got his promotion. He smelled the bribe talking bil's new found attitude a bit too much to stomach.
