Consequences depends on the state law. For the most part, a person can only use deadly force if his life is in danger.
If it is just a fight, they probably cannot shoot someone unless they can show that they reasonably felt their life was in danger.
Most states do not value property over human life. If a person is shooting at you, you can shoot back to defend yourself. If you accidentally shoot someone else, again, it depends on state law.Depending on the jurisdiction, there might be a charge for something like "reckless use of a firearm."

Anyways, in my pov,this was a sad accident and since Pratigya will be alive and fine, she should be able to clear Krishna.
I am surprised that the creatives have suddenly come forward with legality of matters ,considering the fact that criminals like Shakti are out on bail.
Very strange, Anyways any case against Krishna would not stand ,since the victim here is his own wife and she is very much in love with him. She is going to testify that it was an accident. In the court of law ,you can use the benefit of spousal testimony.
