In terms of character development it doesn't make sense that Shakti is the one responsible for shooting Prats. This track was done to make K realise the consequences of his use of violence to deal with things. K never thought about this when ever he carried out his fights. It was done to appease his ego and satisfaction. It had to be Prats (not even Amma or SS) who was chosen to bare the brunt of this.

I do agree with ur summation and as the SJKN has confirmed..Shakthi is held responsible for the consequences while it is Krishna who shot ..that makes sense..

KN wasn't alone in instigating the goons to harrass P Amma was encouraging them too............so if there is a stand off then K should plant a slap on Amma as well.

Amma gave the over all permission for everyone..

while Shakthi purposefully egged Radhe , knowing the kind of person he was ..he even used that twig to show P in all her glory ...while Amma had no malicious intent ..then..

Everyone knows Krishna and his temperament..it was like going in front of an angry lion and wagging ur little finger at it..Shakthi knew what would happen, yet he propelled Radhe towards his SIL..

I completely agree.. Krishna is the shooter according to me because only this could have the most impact on his way of thinking, his behavior. If prats wakes and points a finger towards another all of his rage will be directed at that individual and once again he will be the angry young man... no difference. But if he is responsible for prats condition he will be forced to look within himself and for the first time realize that a loved one (a bit more precisely his life) has paid the price for his actions he will be held responsible and no one else (a part from KN since he is the one who instigated this situation).. he will understand that his anger has led to his wife's condition in an attempt to stop him from committing a crime. This in turn will make him more inclined to think before reacting to a situation.. making him a far more responsible human being. Gradually he will understand his responsibilities...!!

And very well put ..Loved it ..Agree , it is his actions that will trigger his change..it has always been so.. He changes not bec other's including P wants him too..He changes when he realizes the consequences , understands the implication..this way he remains his own man.

Amma sealed the deal the folowing morning when she brought up the subject again. She knows that K will never doubt P word (jab maidam bolti hain to). She might as well have put the gun in his hand.
