Just when they cross one hurdle, another pops up.

That's the story of protagonists of most daily soaps.

After winning her husband's heart, Pratigya was just beginning to get a bit of a breather'till Mai's entry. This bodes a fresh round of trouble.

Mai, played by veteran theatre actor Prachi Pathak, has come to Sajjan Singh's house to take care of her pregnant daughter Kesar.

Kesar had earlier, rebelled against her husband and is living on her own. Mai's entry will prove to be a great support for Kesar. Coming from a poor family, she wants to squander Sajjan Singh's wealth and instigate everyone against Pratigya, played by Pooja Gaur.

The next hurdle: Will Mai succeed in her malicious agenda?
