I know that Amma is a negative character and her job is to be mean. But saying that, I would like you to realize that, there is a point of toleration. Till now, she has been unnecessarily mean and hurtful to Pratigya. She taunts her at very possible chance.
For instance in 17th March's episode, she started screaming at Pratigya because Krishna would not eat. It was a complete exaggeration of dialogues and facial expressions. She is a dangerous and vicious woman who played an active role in killing an unborn baby. Not to mention, her participation in the many conspiracies to kill Prats and Kesar.
So,what is your message to women who are unlucky enough to have mother-in- laws like her? I think your message to the poor women would be , that no matter how insulting and painful the MIL is, it's your job to suffer it silently. Your protagonist Pratigya is validating the fact by keeping quiet at her taunts and insults. She needs to speak up and stop her atrocities.
No matter how good an actress Ashmita Sharma is , her screen character is becoming intolerable to watch.
