Yes..We finally got an insight into K's mind ..which however is in direct contrast to what he stated when the confrontation erupted ... So my Q's is why this change in stance ??

but seeing his fatehr all alone toiling to take care of the business chores irks his mind..may be!

I think to protect K character...When the truth about him lying comes out we have a better understanding of what his mind was thinking and have some empathy to his dilemma...Nothing is as straight forward as it seems and had mitigating reasons to hide the truth...😊

Also P has a long way to go to understand her husband...
