Cabinet minister a fan of Sajjan Singh

Having the general public as fans is quite a normal thing for our television celebrities but earning a fan in an influential politician who aren't known to be hooked on to television can be termed as the brownie point for any actor worth his salt.

The entire cast of Pratigya was in for a pleasant surprise to have Nand Lal Gupta, cabinet minister from Uttar Pradesh visit the sets of the show. Gupta is a huge fan of the show and is extremely fond of actor Anupam Shyam who plays Sajjan Singh on the show.

Informs our source from the show, "Cabinet minister from Uttar Pradesh, Mr. Nand Lal Gupta had visited us today along with his family. We were overwhelmed to have him as a guest on the sets of the show. We were on the top of the world to know that he is an avid viewer of the show and follows it religiously. He is particularly fond of Mr. Anupam Shyam who essays the role of Sajjan Singh. He had come on the sets at around 3:30 and kept chatting with Mr.Anupam for an hour."

It's not everyday you have fans as a politician, the show certainly has managed to make an impact at the right places.
