Weeks and months have gone by and YKW's annoying state of affairs at the Niwas is still lingering on MKAP. When will we see the end to this track? What a waste of episodes!
Komal gives a verbal lashing to the shopkeeper demanding to know his need to show up on the Saxes doorstep to collect his measley payment. With a promise to pay him by day's end and a demand he not show his mugshot in front of her sasural's doorstep again she warns him not to show up on the Saxes doorstep ever again. Here is the bahu of the Sax family who speaks her mind without beating about the bush. No one seems to take seriously at the Saxes for she is often shut down simply bec' she is an unpud. Listening to her practical and sometimes down to earth solutions could help Saxes get a grip on real life for a change but they are resistant to it. What a waste! ๐
YKW sees Krishna going about his business and decides to meddle in his life. Has she considered what awaits her in KN's world when the 21 days are up and he makes a beeline for her? Her only focus seems to be in plotting against Prats. Enough about YKW What a waste!๐
Baba is excited about treating his Babu extra special on her birthday. Finally one good deed from twit ''..YKW tells Krishna it's Prats's birthday tomorrow. She leads an unsuspecting Krishna into believing that Prats would love him more if he got her a brand new car as a birthday gift. That cancels out the only good deed in a New York minute. Just then Prats notices Krishna in convo with her sister, the recent interloper at the Niwas. Krishna hurries down to Prats, shushes her questions about his convo with YKW and leads her back to their bedroom. What happened to the Krishna who read people like an open book and know in a heartbeat that they were up to no good? How comes he doesn't use hat gift he has in him to sniff out the rat in the house who play mind games like SCAM and Takurain? POPS are messing around with Krishna that the core personality is being compromised. Instead we see a confused, bumbling fool at times. Does getting married automatically mean Krishna has lost his sharp wit and street smarts? What a waste!๐
Back at the Niwas, Komal returns home. Naina gives her the third degree for being gone without informing anyone about her whereabouts. Komal reminds Naina she is unnecessarily worried about her. True that, Komal! Worrying is a chronic problem with the Saxes. Komal tells her sasuma that she is no baby for them to be worried about her. She went to take care of their worries, to settle accounts with the storeowner. Dadi demands to know where she got the money. Komal proudly admits to getting the money from SS. Naina can't believe they have lived to see the day that they would get SS to pay for their ration๐ Just a verbal version of the rona-dhona. Shamu is still earning a living at the University so why is Naina talking like they are strapped to pay for basic food. We know Komal's world revolves around food (Like a friend here on IF, you know who you are๐๐๐๐). Komal is a practical girl who is stuck in a house full of people who are bent on towing society's rules even if it is to their own detriment and goes against what is for their own good. The Saxes are a classic example of idealists who are full of talk about their principles and nothing else to show for it. When will at least one of them wake up to the reality of life. All that education going for naught! What a waste!๐
Dadi makes her usual brashful demand that Komal be supportive of her husband and sasural. Komal asks Dadi a very pertinent question..."What would it take for the Saxes to believe she supports and stands by her husband"?๐ There is no food, Adarsh is incapacitated, she has sacrificed her wants and barely goes out to have fun. Truth be told, she has given up a whole lot living with the Saxes after being treated like a spoiled brat and enjoying life at the Takurs. Who is the bahu here? Komal talks more sense to Naina these days. All the sasuma is capable of doing is begging not to make them more worried. Can she do anything besides making tea, shed some tears, take pride in wearing the badge of Worry Wart and do nothing to find a solution to their problems? She is the Queen of Denial and in recent months she become part of the problem. Her refusal to face the reality, the desperation to get YKW married to SCAM has shown her to be the most unreasonable thinker in the family egging teeny twit to act out of desperation. Instead of being a strong parent to guide a bratty daughter she is helpless causing more problems that are now manifesting itself at the Takur Niwas. What a waste!๐
Komal challenges Naina about defending the respect of the family with a very blunt question. "If your respect matters that much why didn't she settle the shopkeeper's account instead of letting him come to their doorstep and humiliate the family๐. How is that right, but taking money from SS to pay the bills disrespectful? Instead of praising me you are scolding me๐ฒ". Adarsh backs Naina on the issue but Komal is ready to point out the sorry state of affairs in the home beginning with Adarsh being bound to his tum-tum. A useless confrontation. What a waste!๐
Naina is ready to take her anger out on Komal the young bahu who is no longer backing down but fights back. Naina asks Komal to remember in the future that "pati Parameswar hota hai". It's funny watching this scene knowing that Naina is defending her man in real life to Komal๐๐Naina is spending all her time in denial about her reality that she resorts to quips like this these days. What a waste!๐
Shamu enters the house and absorbs the tension in the room like oxygen. After all he is pareshaan Papa and can sense it readily. When he inquires Adarsh tries to brush it off as usual, Komal tells Shamu to ask Naina to spell it out to him clearly. Komal seems to have decided on a different course of action. They are now pareshaan over Shamu's health to give him the truth straight up. Situations may change but the Saxes never learn to adapt and make different choices. They rather prefer the situations to miraculously change than their reactions or attempt to make new choices. Komal like Krishna believes what does it matter who the money comes from, as long as it serves its purpose. Adarsh tells Komal to put a lid on it and not say anything to pareshaan Papa that only makes Shamu all the more concerned. Komal storms off after telling the Saxes to have a good chat.๐ The young Takur girl turned Sax bahu sure knows how to bring it home to the Saxes in a few short phrases. Prats should learn this from Komal when she has a few free moments and not taking on other people's problems. She could be concentrating on solidifying her own marriage and helping Krishna sort things out in his life too. She spends so much time chasing other people's problems. What a waste!๐
Will she be taking a page out of YKW's book of life with the Takurs? Komal could be getting an education and making her life more productive instead of idling her time and setting the senior Saxes straight. What a waste!๐
Today we saw the first inkling of upcoming track where Komal calls the shots and the Saxes will dance to her tunes. After all the talk about Prats bossing everyone around at the Takurs and being given importance all these months at the Saxes acc' to Komal, she seems ready to do the same at the Saxes. Saxes are about to get a meaner tougher version of Prats, the bahu at the Takurs. Strap your seatbelts on it's going to be a bumpy ride with the Saxes in the coming weeks.Prats is a busy bee with yet a lot of work to finish for the night, or so she says. She is hanging her sarees when Krishna comes in and tells her it's time to stop and get some shuteye. When she pleads she is not sleepy Baba carries his Babu to bed and starts treating her like a parent putting a hyper toddler to bed for an afternoon nap. Is this Krishna practicing for the arrival of Vachan, the junior Baba in the near future? Prats smiles at Krishna and wonders why he is so bent on having her get to bed early tonight. He covers her eyes while patting her to sleep and after a while whispers "are you asleep?" Prats whispers back "yes". A funny moment but Krishna seems to be very serious about making sure Prats is asleep sooner than later. Wonder what he has cooking that he doesn't want her to know about just yet. He turns the lights off and lovingly watches his Babu sound asleep for just a moment.๐ณ
It's not clear if it's nighttime or the next day. Krishna enters the kitchen and asks YKW to bake a cake for her sister's budday. Takurain is curious about his request. YKW, the teeny twit twists the truth and feeds it to the Takurain "tomorrow is devraniji's birthday and he is planning to buy Prats a brand new car". Conveniently she leaves out the fact that she was the one who suggested it. What was that expression supposed to convey at the end of today's episode? There was a time when we couldn't' tell what Prats's expressions conveyed, now its' YKW. We've have enough of watching below par acting for months now.
Today, we saw the SCAM-YKW wedding fiasco telecast here. That makes it three weeks of the YKW in Takur Niwas. It's time for POPS to wrap up this bigamy track, cut their losses and move on. The actress can't deliver the role with conviction. With two weeks to go before the New Year, ending this track will be a timely gift for MKAP viewers.
Preview: Krishna informs SS that Prats's birthday comes tomorrow. Takurain and KN listen to Krishna ask SS for money so he can buy Prats a gift of a brand new car. Baba tell your bauji who planted that idea in your mind too. The devious interloper YKW! Rat on her to your bauji, it's not a sin at all.
