Some how I feel with A as an antagonist, P stands no chance to wage her now (in)famous sacchai ka saath dena. Her family is her biggest weakness. In fact with just one stroke of showing KN-A marriage the CVs have negated all the bonding that P and Kesar seemed to have developed or the sickle and gun tamasha scene. This is where I have major objections. The current track is not just illegal, flop film material or just tacky but it undoes or demolishes whatever the CVs had built up earlier. It's like the CVs telling us now forget everything else we told u earlier and watch this.

I can understand moving on of the script(whatever) but totally blocking out the past and the USP of the lead characters is unpalatable.

Hope, Long time... 🤗

Like Aeryn said, I won't say I'm loving the current track. 😆 But I'm still not disheartened by the show. First off, MKAP started with a wrong message. When P gave up on a thug she hated, who was harassing her day in day out and ended up marrying him 😲 in spite the eve teasing fiasco; it silenced the semi-feudal social mindset that we had against it. MKAP started with a wrong note (for the society) but nonetheless left us giddy with delight. Reason: K ( the antagonist for that matter) was very engaging. To combat the blahs, he beat all the odds. Turned out, some of us (like me) watched the show only for K. The show succeeded. At least my problem started when K's novelty was completely drained out to a point where he seemed nobody but a supporting actor in the show. Then when I started perceiving the show without much expectation.

Without solid base, Aman(Mathurs) were introduced. The dull series started. TRP went down. Prolly Creatives wanted to try something different. Tried to raise our anxiety level-Aman as a double faced. Unfortunately, it was simply dragged kicking and screaming into a high melodrama that couldn't be maintained. Recent tracks seem to be inspired by bigamy which, despite being unlawful is still practiced in many parts of India. But it went haywire. It became one off-beam message in a painful and riotous symphony of husband/wife searching.

Messy love triangles are the quintessential soap storyline. It's the stuff of soaps. Cvs seem chickening out following the trend! so much that they had to cross all lines and bring in Shakti in the triangle. 😆 What can we do! Revel in the joy of soapdom and their triangles, though I preferred Aman-Arushi just for Arushi to regret and recede. But like you said, how boring it would have been to watch Arushi-Aman dull romance if everything had went out well.😛

Thakurs messed up misery should tickle us in the days to come. Its been quite sometime now since Prats, the protagonist seemed sidelined with her painfully unsuccessful missions, K's knack royally ignored. With that, current Man ka awaaz -Arushi was not a big shock to me. 😆 Its going to be sister Vs. sister under the same roof. Lets see if these new niches can turn around things to make us say - Its getting interesting. 😉 I'm glad I keep my logical switch off and take it for pure giggle.

Every episode I watch, I still want to know what will happen next...and next...and next..., even if the plot is crappy, its been kind of fun to pick fun at the story and the characters/actors. The slow, wacked story lines meant that if I've some work, I could do so and know that I could easily catch up with the story or not worry about missing an important plot point. 😃

Loved your post!!! And contrary to popular opinion I am enjoying the current track. Finally some grey and intrigue. I do agree that Prats reactions don't fit the character or the storyline. She seems to have given up on saving her sister's life a little too easily - after all who knows Arushi's weaknesses and insecurities better than her.
Also intrigued to see how the Shakti character develops with a strong wife of his own choosing - and a position of favour in his home.

Hey Light:

thanks😃

Prats is a mardana aurat right? the CVs made Krishna say that dialogue.

So why is she acting like an Ekta heroine? All teary eyed. is so not becoming of Pratigya. This is the girl who has taken on thakurain and all single handedly. Sorry I am not buying what they are selling here. for now.

Aarushi has slapped prats, refused to take her blessings and other stuff and our ferocious Krish is totally quiet? so it si finally confirmed he only acts when she tugs the leash. she does not want to respond to Arushi's repeated taunts so Krish is passive now.

arushi's transformation is the wierdest. till yesterday she was all bold and wanting to meet Aman inpublic places without the knowledge of her family and today she is all coy, docile and ghungat wearing? Wonder how long that act will last😆😆

If they show Shakti going down the Krishna route that will be disappointing and a waste of film. Shakti should not become a jhoru ka ghulam in the name of love. at least we have to give them credit for not dropping his drink habit overnight out of love for his juliet. if he stops being abusive that is enough.

I know many want kesar to leave with her head held high - but let's face it - the possibility of seeing any sensible tracks in this show is very remote and based on the latest "sensationalism + romance" formula - I wonder though considering Arushis is so immature and such a motor mouth. Will her behaviour in comparison to Kesar's make Shakti fall in love with Kesar's simplicity once the sexual craving for Arushi😕🤪 has abated??

If this happens and Shakti throws out Arushi for Kesar - will Pratigya fight as vehemently and lodged a police complaint again to save Arushi's bigamous marriage?

Hey Aeryn and Shefali🤗

Ideally I want the track to go back to the original concept.

revolving solely around krishna and Pratigya - their financial challenges, krishna's self sustenance, Pratigya's maturity as a woman and as a wife.

but seems the CVs don't want to show us that.

So if I had a choice between Aman-Arushi andArushi- Shakti. I go for the latter out of lack of choice because it bigmay at the TN is expected to bemore mirch masala than bigamy at the mathur home. Don;t you guys think?

I don't understand why the CVs keep focusing all the peripheral characters and their uninteresting lives when the leads especially krishna is so much more interesting.

they let the romance track just fade into nothingness.

typically once the honeymoon is over the harsh realities of married life seep in. but they totally brushed it aside.

I have a hard time dealing with prats in TN

For some reason Aeryn the CVs NEED krishna and prats in TN. maybe because if they move out they are going to actually have to show plots linked to the storyline.

if you notice they keep poking gingerly at the issue and then straying clear off it like it is a minefield or something. Remember the freeloader comment, the Shyam-krish dialogue in the hospital, the noticeable defenselessness of Krishna by prats whenever krish is being humiliated or taunted by the saxenas. Nothing seems to provoke Krishna and Pratigya. Any self respecting male and devoted wife would have reacted aggressively or firmly by now but these two only ignore and evade

she is a big hypocrite...So prats meekly allowing her sis to do as her wish, the missing glares and bashans are very much in character and I don't see anything that indicate a change anytime soon....

Aeryn, tomorrow idiot Shyam is going to finally wake up to his failure as a parent (without all that bookish knowledge) and get a heart attack. Wonder if this will get the sisters close again or will they show Arushi hating Prats even more because in some peverse way she will not attibute her father's state to her own foolishness but to Prats interference in her marital matters.

Aarushi will miraculously escape her SR with KN, realise her mistake of misjudging prats and go back home after/or without the annulment of the marriage.....

I think that SR might be delayed because of the heart attack. As for Shakti's reaction, somehow I cannto see him realistically going through all the turmoil krishna went thorugh in a similar marriage setup to win her affections
First I don't think such a scenario showing K insulting/saying something against Aarushi will arise more's the pity.....forget Shakti, Prats will herself silence him with a glare😆😆😆😆😆...Krishna knows the saxes are a touchy matter to Pratigya and that whatever the circumstances she will not take an insult to her beloved family lying down (how he doesn't call her on her double standards is beyond me...😡). oh he better not forget that or he will be in the doghouse for hte next few months. his treats for being so robotically well behaved will stop suddenly 😆😆😆😆Not wanting to find himself in the doghouse, he will not cross his limits....
Second if such a scenario does arise, will K even reflect on it or take it to heart...I have not seen his facial expression during the AA marriage fiasco but according to written updates, his dialogues and actions didn't strike me as him being concerned by KN-A marriage. He was far from truly minding his bro remarriage thinking that if someone should act on opposing it, it should be Kesar.....I don't think the girl with whom KN remarries have an importance. The only thing of importance is and will always be how Prats is taking it....bottom line being K will take his cue from prats.👍🏼 yup that is exactly it I still remember when he was being praised to the skies for wielding the machete on his brother supposedly for this very issue yet at that time we had challenged it because his reaction had nothing to do with the issue but was instinctive on seeing a wounded prat ...his protestations will again be acted out in a the mix of emotions and he will forget the incident quickly once he cools down....
In between all this we will have the saxes rona-dhona/nautanki....again it has already started --nainaji's attempt to poison the family and according to the precap shamu's heart attack -- so you see I don't see reasons significant enough for me to like/look forward to this track....
I actually only read updates and see pictures on Dhruvie's updates. scenes are too boring to watch

Nice to read your post after a long time. I enjoyed it😎😎
Even i kinda liked Arushi - shakti track, there is more spice to it then the whole aman thing!
lolz irony, all the saxs siblings are married to the takkurs🤣🤣 wht a bonding!!!
i just loved this bit
Arushi - slaps devrani Prats🤪
Prats slaps little sis Arushi🤣
I want Prats back to being the sherni she was, it's time big sis teaches the kido sis some lessons!
coming to think of it two sis quarreling over trivial matters baba supporting prats & shakti supporting Arushi amma will have loads of say on this!!
cheers
p.s. Hope, if u have time please do watch 'Maryada' it's an interesting show (so far😉) realistic and bold in it's approach!

hey kai:

nice to see u after sooooooooooooooooooooo long 🤗

I will try and watch maryada if I have time. KC hs also recommended a show called Kaali?

I think Arushi was itching to slap Prats. and the inferiority complex has been apparent for a while now. remember in the beginning before Krish came on the scene. How Arushi used to always feel that Shyam gave prats a lot more liberties than her. then Krish came and everyone got distracted.

yes that poor thakurain. I think instead of murding three sax siblings she should just kill herself.😆

@ bold - totally agree.

this whole sacchai ki murat thing never sat well with me.

the original plot was interesting because it realistically portrayed the family angst and social trauma that a girl being chased in a small town or even community in a big city experiences. but this unconditional sacchai ki murat is actually unrealistically heavy for the average viewer just seeking some entertainment. then the blatant hypocrisy is an even bigger irritant.

agree with yoru entire post and especially the above.

everytime I see krish though I cannot help have a deep sense of sadness at the novelty of the character lost. I too joined for a dashing Krish who would not take his wife's rejection lying down.
