POPs and cast of MKAP who visit our forum to hear us.................. hear and heed our call before it is too late.
Has someone at the network, production house and production team of MKAP decided that reaching the first anniversary of the show as the intended milestone is good enough and it's time to pack up the show, turn out the lights and move on? This show has been rife with problems half way into its first year of production. Union protests, actors hurt on the set, actor fighting with director, electrical problems, not to mention the actors looking tired and bored. These same actors who were once getting along, having fun on the sets are today looking bored and tired. There is visible tension and stress on the actors faces for at least a couple of months now. They may be giving their performances but body language speaks volumes when the cameras are not rolling for the show. Overall the news coming out of the sets of MKAP has been negative for months now. What gives? Chakkar kya hai.
Forget what the viewers want for just a moment now. Has anyone on the production team taken a good look at the body language and energy among their cast? Some of their performances speak for themselves, it screams boredom, dissatisfaction and going through the motions. Even the stalwart Takurs' performances lack the energy they once had. If you don't believe us go back and watch the episodes from just about four months ago. Do your cast even matter to you anymore, the very performers who have put you on the map?
Did the best popular show award at ITA go to POPs heads leading you to complacency? Please don't rest on your laurels of the past year or you will soon be singing PRATIGYA BUND JAYEEEEE.
Please bring back a director with a vision to bring your storyboard and script to life like you did early on instead of experimenting with production for months on end. Truth is, vision cannot be taught it's either there or not. The best show on the network is compromising on quality production, pinching pennies and giving us a cheap show! Make-up, hair, wardrobe are all in need of an urgent, major makeover. Let's see these changes pronto, to prove you do listen to your viewers input. Other less popular shows have the basics right so why won't you?
If the show is entering an exciting period why aren't we seeing it? Who are you trying to convince your actors or your gradually thinning audience of great stories looming ahead? Your current TRPs reflect that the show is on a downward trend. The current ridiculous plot glorifying bigamy while your stars, the characters we love, that are supposed to be defenders of truth and rights of women stand by looking like bumbling fools doing nothing is unacceptable? Is this the message that you wish to broadcast to your audiences facing such a predicament?
Promo of KN-Arusia wedding bombarded the airwaves recently. Was that an attempt to warn viewers or brainwash them into accepting an unpalatable track? It is clear that this plot was in the works a while ago and not a last minute change of plans. Why pin the blame on the viewers for this messy track, blaming the very people who give you your much sought after TRPs?
Today's episode was one of the most poorly acted, directed and edited episodes with a ridiculous plot to boot. Krishna and Prats were behaving out of character, Shamu was overacting, Nainaji looking like she had a sudden attack of myopia with the rest of them standing in their marked spots like zombies. Are we to believe that the Arusia who ran away from home in the middle of the night trying to escape the clutches of Angad suddenly finds KN a great catch? Now we are expected to accept this load of Cr&p? Oh! Phleeeeze! Don't insult our intelligence with your hurl inducing story line performed by a girl who is ill prepared to handle this role at the center of it. Even if Pratigya has an achilles heel when it is comes to challenging her family what happened to the hero of this show? Where is Krishna the man of his word? Why didn't he call the cops on them? Did his cell phone run out of battery power?
Some loyal viewers of this show are still willing to give you the benefit of the doubt because of their love of their favorite characters. But please don't take our generosity for granted. When the mass exodus happens even bringing Kriya back with a blast won't save the show, for it will be too little too late. Please don't make the mistake of taking your viewers for granted. The customers are always right, if we don't like the quality of the product however appealing its appearance we will go look for one elsewhere, there are new choices cropping up a dime a dozen everyday.
