Aman is able to preach the law, because of his connections. He faith in the law is not because of how the system actual works but who he knows and who he is related to. Most likely he is given preferential treatment by police who are in fear of disciplinary action if they go against his POV, and probably not faced much opposition when dealing with law and order.

He has no experience of what a normal human reaction to police ad dealing with law and order.

If he is as moralistic and self righteous as he claims to be then his brother will be in jail for the crime he committed. There are far too many cases in India where rich brats drive rashly and cause accidents, sometimes fatally (mostly are the poor), and get away with it coz of their connections and power. This is also a social evil that exists in India as well.. Not everything is about women rights!

But I can see it now that Jai will get away with it and his despicable actions right after the hit and run will be justified.

Personally, I find Aman to be a very hollow character. There is not much to him apart from having a superiority complex and pointing out others flaws and is a walking, talking preaching machine, Ugh!

But his actions will be justified because it will be for the greater good, and the lessons taught will have a better impact, especially from a man whose entire identity is for fighting for truth and justice. Saxes are meant to be non violent family, so why have we seen Adarsh using violence on many occasions to solve problems. Why wasn't the lecture on "let the police do its work" preached to him?
