I think that baba doesn't always at first time round agree with Pratigya, first he disagrees with her, then he always does comes around. He always supports her.
Baba is not the enemy in this show in fact he is the supporter for Pratigya's battles which he then has to finish off in many cases.
On the show Pratigya is made to be the one always knowing to be the one doing the right thing because she is educated and comes from a sanskari and civilised family.
So although our baba finally does agree with her, even if sometimes it is just in his heart (like knowing that reporting the case to the police was the right thing to do abt amma shaktia and kesar's situation). And in other situations where he stands by her openly.
The reason for him not jumping in on the first opportunity always in her fights is because the cv's need to show some difference between pratigya's a civilised /educated person's reaction to Krishna who is not educated and does'nt come from a family who respect others.
So although unlike his family he does process the information and reacts to it in due course, his processing is a little more slower than Pratigya's.
BUT if someone else is bad to Pratigya then he doesn't wait around he jumps in feet first to support her, (with the exception of last friday's episode)
So all in all what i want to say that he is a good person, Sometimes the show send's a message through him, by making him the object of the subject. ( should a husband raise his hand on his wife or not etc, that type of thing). But as baba is a unique character he always manages to shine through instead.
If krishna jumped in, straight away instead of pratigya to fight for kesar etc, then there would be no use of Pratigya. So for any one esle's case he will always be her supporter. Apart from situations like where angadwa wanted to marry arushi, he knew immediately within his own standards that, that was wrong and didn't wait for anyone's permission and beat angadwa up. Because he automatically knew that Angad was wrong.
Many people adressed him as a goon yesterday, okay he did gundagardhi - but he's unique akhir mein yahi gunda kaam aya to help pratz.
So the moral of the story is that, sometimes for a few episodes the cv's might show him under a dark light, but baba will always emerge back into the brightness again. so have faith in him, he's no villain.
