I find it hard to believe that she is still there. Pratigya is an intelligent, educated, brave and independent girl. Why is she living in jungle kingdom? Kesar is staying out of desperation and a lack of choices but this is not Pratigya's predicament?? i think the reason is obvious........she is in love with krishna.........she walked out of the house earlier because she hated him and just didn't care for him.......u see she would have gone back if krishna had not cleaned her face of all the dirt and taken her inside.....she would have gone back if krishna had told her before he went out of that long walk 'don't expect me.'...she would have gone back that day when he rejected her and she had to yell at him the reason she stayed there she doesn't want his love if it is lased with doubt....she asked him that day 'kiskeliye ruke...' for whom i should stay here....who is here whom i can call mine.....' and krishna answered ''me''........its krishna who is making her stay there.........nothing else......
