Kesar is a blindfolded woman ....she has been blindfolded for so long that she has forgotten there is a sun and moon to illuminate our paths ..she has come to the stage where she considers darkness as the natural way of life ....and is terrified or indifferent to light ....It will take a lot of counseling for her even to contemplate and understand that she was a victim of Abuse ..what was done to her was wrong ...Until then she will be a door Mat !!

i think kesar is in the same situation as aunt is in the poem and not only her many women have to face such situations

I have already stated in another Thread...Does Kesar really deserve Justice ....A full fledged tornado is blowing all around her and she is in the eye , Uncaring either about the justice, about her husband's arrest, her future once her husband comes back or even about her child ...😡😲

Kesar could have PTSD. The shock of the trauma may explain her lack of reaction. She has to get past the denial then grieve before she can take the next step. It's not as simple or easy and each person deals with it differently. I do see a Kesar who will eventually change to survive in that house past this track. Amma and KN will not spare her, in fact they will step up their game to hurt her. Once she realizes that KN put on an act, a new Kesar will emerge.😃

In case of Trauma..they are totally unresponsive ..this girl responds ..offers to lay out clothes for hubby darling...listens respetfully to Saur..is overcome by Amma's cry .....it is just that she is not very keen on fighting...we actually heard her reluctance in the hospital itself..adn even in TN , she was keen to withdraw, did you miss the ardour when she says she is confident that Shakthi has changed ..and Komal..she just took 10 mins to convince her to withdraw the FIR ....she wants to live with him ,Mera.....and if that is her coice..then she must be left to deal with the aftermath ...and Pratigya shuld not be egging her to do the right thing ..what is right to u may not be right to others..
