Krishna and Prats open communication lines and address some of their underlying feelings. Amma badmouthed Prats to Krishna. SS haunted by visions of KN's jootha-maar put his plan in motion. Prats mischievously got Krishna's attention.
In the privacy of their bedroom Prats asked Krishna why he was making life difficult for her after defending her purity of character to the outside world. Interesting how the two of them see everyone even family as the outside world. Prats asked Krishna why he hated her? Prats maybe that's what Krishna asked himself since your SR#1 when you caught him off guard with your hate speech,😡😲 at least you saw it coming as you feared his reaction to the truth about your kidnapping😕. Seems a case of what goes around comes around! Krishna wanted to trust her and believe she was incapable of making mistakes but even if he willed it he just couldn't. Maybe a doctor could give him a shot to forget everything in his mind. It wasn't fun, it was difficult but he was bearing and living with the well of emotions inside him. Prats asked him how she could prove her virtuous character, that she was still untouched. If she could bring back the dead Angad to prove his innocence she would. Oh, Prats, please don't!😲 We don't want to see paanwala and his red lips again. She asked Krishna to tell her how else she could bring the truth before him. When Krishna wouldn't tell her how, Prats asked him if he expected her to live with his hatred all her life in the same house, under the same roof, in the same room as strangers? Wow! You know we asked the same question on Krishna's behalf after you gave him your hate speech. Imagine his pain every time you gave him the brush off when he loved you😳 so and you hated him with a passion.😡 She reached out and touched him on his shoulder,😳 it salved his distress and churning emotions.🥱
Papa Shamu had a chat with Arushi. He wanted to know if everything was well at the Niwas during her stay. Arushi extolled her sister's greatness at managing the herd there. Kesar apologized to Prats for KN's gatiya actions toward Arushi and felt Arushi did the right thing. He had scared the young girl and she was ashamed bec' this man was he pati. Amma told Prats to step aside in the kitchen adding some insults for good measure. Prats ignored them and asked for some milk for Krishna. Prats reminded me of Oliver Twist in that moment. Amma intentionally ladled some boiling hot milk on Prats's hand as she held her cup. Kesar and Prats were visibly stunned. Amma turned it around on Prats and accused her of burning her hand and using it to complain about her to Baba. Ammaji, you are revealing your sick thinking every day with your own words.
Amma brought a cup of milk for Baba who was seated in meditation on his bed. A hand touched the top of his head and disturbed his silence. He opened his eyes. Was that a flicker of disappointment in his eyes to see his Amma instead of Prats? Amma gave him a phony smile and Baba watched her silently as she fed him some Lord's prasad. Oh, oh,! Wake up Baba!. This is your Amma, remember every time she feeds you it comes with price tag? She is about to bend your ear with her Prats hate speech couched as "I love you Baba speech'.
Amma gave him the glass of milk and began her kari-koti of Prats. Prats was not a good wife, bahu or mother to date. Amma didn't care about the world only about her Baba and didn't raise him to watch this day. He came back for Prats from the mouth of death but as a mother it was hard for her to his crestfallen face when he was once as bright as the shining sun. Quietly laying his cup aside Baba put the breaks on Amma's ranting with one simple question "Where is Pratigya?" Lallantop move, Baba!
A wide range of fleeting emotions raced across Amma's face as it registered hurt, pain and anger all at once as she replied in a defensive tone "she is probably around here somewhere". The sweet smile was wiped off her face as her true colors came shining through and her hatred for Prats was laid in plain sight for Krishna to view. She continued her attack on Prats "What is it to her she is probably looking for a new excuse for more drama?"
Krishna's stared back at Amma with a blank look in response and that was all it took for Amma to tune into her own feelings welling up inside and her eyes teared up. Amma as a vicious sasuma was in full form today with a brilliant performance. I guess she forget Baba's ultimatum yesterday to stop badmouthing his wife. She is rapidly working her way to be the first one to get her pink slip from on her way out of Baba's life.
Back on center stage SS is enjoying some paer-dabana from a naukar. Flashing images of Arushi giving Katra Naresh a jhoota-maar was all it took to wake him from his nightmare as he yelled out "Sakthiya". Amma and KN were alarmed at his outburst. Why the surprise folks?😲 You should be worried if the man was quiet. You didn't react to his lunatic tirade y'day😡 but this bothered you? Hmmmm! 😕SS said all that was happening in the household was due to the Mumfordgunj folks and he had tolerated them long enough. He pinned it all on Pratigya and felt something had to be done to make her family pay before all of Allahabad called him a kuttha. Huh? Btw, Takurji, looks like revenge on Saxsena supercedes your hunger to win the election.
SS, the schemer-in-chief smiled like the cat that got the milk as his brain sketched out his plot. Even KN looked concerned and confused as Amma waited for her mard to complete his plotting. With a satisfied grin on his face, he shared the plot with his accomplices Amma and Katra Naresh, who was also executor of the plot. Talking in soccer metaphors, SS gloated that once the goal was scored (Prats was offed) the game would be over. The game has been set for a special time tomorrow 8 pm IST. Please stay tuned in for the results of the game tomorrow. Seems like this overconfident team may have scored a goal for the opposing team instead.
Krishna was enjoying his glass of milk (looks like he gave up on "hum konu byil nahi ki budhi moti kar dhen")😆 as Prats is checking through her closet and finds the pink saree. Haila! Krishna's toufa saree! 😳She found it. Must have been lost at the dry cleaners for months now."Hey hey heyyy haha hahahahahha (a female voice sings in the background) as Prats had flashbacks of the saree's significance in her life and walks past him with a smile on her face. I guess she has too much time on her hands now. Prats is planning to get some attention from pati Parameshwar.😳
Krishna for the first time ever walks towards the stereo system and glanced at the cds. Wonder what music Baba likes to hear? Rock and Roll, Hip-Hop, Punjabi bhangra, Bollywood hits? We are about to find out. Oh no! Baba turned still sipping the milk and what's that? It's the male voice singing hey hey hey, hahahahahahha. Krishna had flashbacks of Prats liking the saree at the store. A flicker of a smile flashed in his eyes, as Krishna enjoyed the view of his "jaan" Pratigya wearing his toufa saree for him. His one wish had come true (as shared with T/C at the Adda before the wedding) just the first of many, many more yet to be fulfilled. Krishna was so enamored by the beautiful vision of his wife before him. He almost dropped the stainless steel cup before Prats grabbed for it too. Their hands still locked around the stainless cup Krishna saw the large blotchy burn spot on Prats's hand. When Krishna asked Prats brushed it off saying she had burnt her hand in the kitchen. Instinctively Krishna moved to get some ointment but stopped himself from getting it and told her to get it herself and apply it. Prats brushed aside Krishna's concern as she mischievously talked him into getting the ointment and applying it. Krishna gently tended to his beebi's burn. Awwwww! The Krishna we knew before is slowly emerging. Hopefully his Devdas days are behind him. POPs please see to it.
Preview: Amma, honey dripping off her lips asks Prats to hang the laundry on the back balcony and Prats humbly nods. SS, the schemer-in-chief draws Amma's attention to Prats's slipper clad feet with a look. Decoding his signal instantly, Amma stops Prats in her tracks with a loud cat call. Wonder if Baba was awakened to the drama transpiring on center stage and makes his way out looking for Prats. Prats turns and Amma not wanting to let the cat out of the bag changes her tone and asks Prats to take off her slippers in her saccharin sweet voice. Prats does her bidding and heads for the trap set by her sinister and scheming sasurals with a bucket of wet clothes in hand.
P.S.: Looks like Amma is slated to be the first person to get a pink slip from Baba. She has left too many clues like an ant trail for Baba to follow. First the cup of milk and her patar-patar about Prats even after Baba had warned the family to not badmouth Prats.
That closet is a bottomless pit. Prats has stuffed a comforter (bedspread), it's their medicine chest, their clothes closet, all in one. Wonder what else is in there? Was someone sitting in that closet with a camera in hand when Prats was looking at her sarees, or is the back wall of the closet missing?
Talking about cameras, on Krishna's list of things to do pronto, ia hidden camera to be installed on center stage in the Niwas where pretty much all the plotting and scheming goes on.
