This week was off to a better start. Overall, a much better episode but for a little stale leftovers from last week.😕 It was a wish fulfilled watching our two favorite couples whose marriages had been on neutral or park mode for a while now, but for the rude interruption of the nightmare of Katra Naresh's salicious dream.
For the most part Monday episode felt like a walk along the beach until you stepped on a sharp pebble or a scoop of hot baadam halwa that burnt your tongue.
Prats was relieved her sister was finally resting after all the dramabaaz and hoopla at the house. Prats, thank your lucky stars that your sasural weren't around to make it into a full scale theatre production. Krishna looked well rested after all tender loving care from his dharampatni. So, now he was spoiling for a fight with his wife.😡 Prats was disappointed that patidev didn't show up to the temple even after she had asked him nicely. Prats that sounds like you are blaming him for making choices that didn't favor you. Btw, Krishna baba, why couldn't you ease her distress and tell her you were at the temple instead of misleading her into believing you didn't care about her vrath? We get you are angry and hurt Baba, did you forget she is your "jaan"? . Now, now, Prats we know you are still a newbie at this marriage thingy, girl. Don't throw the rule book out the door when it comes to talking to your patidev just bec' you are falling in love with your pati Parameshwar. You could just as well have said to him "I was disappointed you didn't come to the temple, I wish you had" instead you turned around and pointed a finger at him by saying "you could have come to the temple when you were out for a while anyways'". Ttsk, tsk, tsk!😕
A frustrated Krishna went right away on the offense with some barbed words that were like poison tipped arrows intended to strike at her heart. He asked her if her stomach ever hurt when she lied or if she was ever tired of shedding those fake tears for they were all a charade. Prats was hurt and said she understood his anger towards her bec' of all that he had to bear because of her but she was not faking anything. Krishna mellowed when Prats seemed to understand his emotions but it was for just a moment. Take note of that, Prats! He bounced back with words sharp as arrows meant to draw blood. He told her that her betrayal was unforgiveable and she should just be grateful he allowed her to stay at his house. Keeping the vrath for his well- being wasn't going to absolve her of her sins. OUCH!
His words had accomplished the task of hurting her. Prats absorbed it all in, relieved he was not internalizing his emotions and punishing himself. His words also acted like fuel to burn off some of the guilt she still felt for causing him hurt and pain. Krishna is living proof of the saying "You only hurt the ones you love". Watch it Krishna Baba!😲 Tone it down a bit before your sherni patni decides to tell you to take a hike and move back to her maike. You will be the miserable one if she choses to move out.😔 The punishment must fit the crime na? How about sitting down and having a heart to heart talk 😳😳😳with that dharampatni of yours instead of slinging those darts at the heart that you want to win over.............you may end up with a wounded heart💔 that may need some tender loving care to mend and it will once again be your turn to heal it if you cause it too much damage. So chill, dude, and try a different approach, will ya?😕
Back at the green house, Adarsh babu smiled (OMG!)😲when a curious Komal woke him up to have a chat with her patidev. Adarsh babu actually smiled at his wife (well not a full blown smile but at this point even a trace of it is a welcome change from him) She wanted to know what kind of girl attracted him. Let's see what Adarsh babu had to say, tick, tock, tick, tock! Oh, no! E leo, he didn't know, had never given it a thought. That explains it, no wonder he has been walking around with that confused and stern expression on his face all this time. Not one to give up easily Komal stated her opinion on the subject to get some answers from him. Adarsh gave his philosphical response that people should wear what the like and that one should never judge a book by it's cover. Now, just wait a New York minute! Did a Saxsena just say that? 😕😲Adarsh babu went nighty night🥱 but Komal just had to know if he saw English movies.Hmmm! Adarsh affirmed he did and told Komal to stop the questions and get some zzzzzzzzzzzs too🥱. The wheels were turning in Komal's head as she made plans.
Back in their bedroom Krishna saw Prats sleeping in his favorite chair with a pillow in hand. When Prats answered Krishna that she had not yet broken her fast after the vrath, he brought her a thali of food. Was that the love for his beebi coming through along with a glimmer of mischief in his smile that hinted at a prank he had up his sleeve?😉 Badmaash!😳 Prats smiled, pleased with Krishna's serving her a meal, the caring side of him she had been missing since the courtroom dramabazz. Krishna patiently poured the dhal (or was that saambar?)😛 over the mound of rice. Just when she was ready to take her first spoonful, he pulled a surprise on Prats and closely watched her reaction as he topped the meal with a generous sprinkling of red chili powder. If that was supposed to be a prank it's not funny, dude,😕a bit sadistic to do that to her when she was breaking a fast. It's confirmed, he is definitely the offspring of SS and Amma. SS should stop asking Amma if Krishna is his aulad after all. Prats won this round of truth or dare and ate the whole plate of rice, OUCH! and the look on Krishna's face was priceless. His wife had outsmarted him on this one and he may have figured out another piece to the puzzle that was his beebi.
Katra Naresh woke up from a salicious dream about Arushi and swore at Kesar. The big bad wolf was making plans for an encounter with his prey yet again. Enough said! We didn't need to see this after the overload last week. Let's get a move on this track, shall we?
Back at the green house, Komal asked Adarsh to fork over some moolah for her plans to get him something special. It's time for Adarsh to take notice spend some quality time with his beebi and teach her how to finger count. She is whiling her time away at her sasural. Nainaji vetoed Prof. Shamu's concerns about Komal spending large amount of money.😕 Komal was all set to have her makeover. You go, girl!👍🏼 We are about to see the beautiful swan emerge after her makeover to knock the socks off Adarsh babu! Alright! Let's see if that will shake up the otherwise stoic beta of the household.
A cheery Prats dressed in a bright yellow saree reflecting her mood brought some garma garam chai for Krishna. She gently woke him up in a chirpy voice brushing his hair aside. Was it the other Takur brother's turn to have a beautiful dream? 😉Or did Krishna look practically stumped and confused lying in bed? 😲Prats offered to make Krishna besan ka halwa as he liked sweets. So do we! Prats, forget the besan ka halwa, beta. How about some garam garam baadam halwa that we've all been waiting to be served for a very long time now. Is this a hint that good times are coming up roses for the Mr. & Mrs. Baba very soon?
Preview: Arushi tells Prats she would go back to the green house first thing in the morning while pounding away with a large wooden stick. The Senior Takurs were set to return and she wanted to get out of the hell hole, Good idea, the sooner the better, you've overstayed your welcome.
P.S: What happened to the food Krishna brought Prats? Did she eat it or was that saved for a flashback moment for another day? Prats was unusually chirpy and happy the next morning, how could that be if she had ingested the chili rice? She was also pampering Krishna who didn't seem to mind her waking him up. What's up with Mr. & Mrs. Baba's unexpected behaviors? Adarsh smiled at his beebi who had plans to knock him for a sixer soon. It's her little secret and can the Saxsenas handle the shock of Komal's surprise for them? Let's hope this week focuses mostly on the young couples for a change.
Now it's your turn to BOLBO, so please get to it.
