Another Night { so soon !!! baba was just having his breakfast ~~} drops in at Thaku'r Villa ........Pratigya gives a memo to Aarushi detailing the activities of Thakur's house [ Are the Thakur's including Pratigya Vampires, I mean they show a big moon on the sky and we get hear Pratigya telling her sis to prepare Breakfast,bec she will be going on nocturnal visit to Temple]
Pratigya then flies off on her broom to her room, Krishna is lolling on the bed [Looks like he has exchanged sacred vows with the bistar and and is saath nibhaoying with it ]..Pratigya comes and seeing Krishna with her souten asks "Aren't you ready yet ??get ready fast ,by then I will prepare and get your Breakfast " { How will he get back to his strong, handsome self when all he gets is Nashta's,No Lunch, Dinner} *Krishna looks on sulkily,still enconsed in the comforts of Pratigya's mistress*
Pratigya walks to the shelf and selects his day wear and keeps it on the bed..then in a honeyed voice she cajolingly tells him "We have to go to Shiv Temple * Krishna gives a Oh ! and why shud we go to Shive Temple Look "* She continues and says "I have kept a fast for ur long life and also for you to get well soon * hearing this Baba cant stop himself from giving a sardonic smile* ,
he springs up from his mistress's lap and caustically says, " Now this is a bit ironical, first you yourself gave me poison [Now to what is he referring ,to the marriage that spoiled his peace and happiness or to the snake venom] and later you pretend to pray for my long life ", [The gentle smile is wiped off Pratigya's face and she is hurt by his acidic words] in a hurt voice she responds "Why are you saying like that [Krishna gives a Plzzzzz spare me ur kindness look ] I have never given you any poison nor am i acting "...
Krishna scoffs and says "Then there is no need for you to explain ur intentions, lets end the matter here itself , Now that you are fasting, go , go to the temple all alone , Why am I necessary ?? It is not as if I don't come, ppl will prevent you from entering the sanctum of the temple , Then go "..Pratigya tone gets even more honeyed and in a coaxing tone she says ," Krishna , You are not Understanding , Today is a auspicious day, Couples shud pray together for successful completion of the Pooja "...Krishna just throws up his hand in the air, settles himself comfortably on the bed and wonders "How come Gods like all this Theatricality{ Coming from you , Beta....That is a bit rich ]
Pratigya continues in her sweet voice "Dekho[ The dekho is back] Krishna, Lots of couples will come to the temple for pooja" * The word Couple, Husband and wife seems to pierce Krishna*that's why your being with me is very vital , you will come na " Krishna gives her an intense look and says in an ironic tone "The necessity of me coming with you is important ONLY if we are Husband and wife in the TRUEST essence of the word " and gives her a long angry stare ..Pratigya feels hurt and it is reflected on her face, immediately he drops his gaze ,, after taking a deep breath he says "You go and do your preparations, I will come after meeting my friends, Go Now " [All this without meeting her gaze]..Pratigya walks off...
Pratigya has began to feel sufficiently enough for her to keep fasting for his being ...This is her way of saying that you do mean something to me, you are special to me , But Krishna's love has always been without pretense, He has given it straight and without any ceremony, naturally he finds Pratigya love filled with ritual, hide bound duties as theatrical and pretentious...it is also heartening to see he is pouring out his angst and is not hiding or controlling it, surely this will dampen the raging fire in which he is burning..
He longs for the marital bliss that is reflected in his statements, Pratigya comprehends his feelings can be understood from her expression, but the sad irony is , she still does not know how to state her inner and finer feelings, she is an introvert and and has never been comfortable in openly spelling out her intimate emotion's, she has to overcome this barrier and reveal everything to him with out any shyness or inhibition.
He loves her and can never see her hurting , the way he averts his gaze as soon as her face crumples in hurt proves it but at the same time he is driven by his inner demons , and hurts her just to sooth his own hurt and pain..it can only be Pratigya's unflinching love, steadfast devotion that can be the balm for the wound that she herself has given him..
Having finished her Kitchen duties, Pratigya returns to her room, only to see Krishna continuing his passionate affair with her soutan . "THE MATTRESS" ..She again reminds him about the Pooja and Afternoon deadline..Krishna is annoyed and tells her he will meet her in the temple.Pratigya departs for the temple.
Pratigya gives her Pooja plate to the priest and Priest inquires the whereabouts of her hubby, Pratigya tells him , Hubby is on the way .Pratigya stands looking out and keeping a watch for her Saathi, But Saathi is Missing !!..Prayer starts and Priest begins calling the couples ..Pratigya looks on worried !! Her Saath Janam ka saathi has arrived but he is not able to see her and is searching for her , then his eyes alights on the only love of his life, there is a momentary relief and the sight of her in the temple seems to inflame him..he continues to give a brooding look sitting on his bike...
Will he come in and make his wife's pooja a success or drive of leaving her in lurch...
Even though he hurts her, taunts and question's her, how much ever angry he is at her .. he still does her bidding ...fulfills her wish ..At the final analysis..She still rules him, she is his world..
