based on Prats

For starters, respect him for who he is not who she wished he could be
don't disrespect the spouse in front of her family
don't let maike talk demeaning about her spouse (it reflects poorly on her as well)
It's not about picking his clothes and bringing his chai (butlers or Piasiya can easily do that)
Care about his emotional well being (it directly impacts her life too, as she is finding out now)
Be grateful for the little things he does for you, it's never about the big ones anyways
Don't give him baashans, most men tune out after 25 secs (that's a fact)
Don't play mind games and go into marriage with an agenda esp. one with revenge
Don't preach to him what she doesn't practice herself
Don't use rona-dhona to manipulate his love for her
Don't keep secrets esp. things that can affect both of them and maybe even destroy the trust, for
without trust there is no love
Don't use him for your agenda and sideline him when you have had your way
Marriage is a two-way relationship of give and take
Don't make a public spectacle and air personal details of marriage to one and all
If you have secrets to tell don't use public stage to reveal it

How's that for starters?😃

First of all Shruthi is not a school going kid, Secondly her views are just the perfect reflections, emulating how Partigya would see things through. But i will let Shruthi defend for herself if she wish to do so, though I doubt it. I abstain from becoming any ones lawyer on this forum.

very good question...i tnink you are new to this forum and new to IF too( i can see hardly 86 posts of you😊) if you want to know how a wife should behave lots and lots of posts are there in this forum to explain by mrearai, tantany, kool, shumi, stillhopfull .hamisky etc etc ...and many more.those who all married and leading happy married life...😃
Comming from another happily maaried woman I sometimes can't understand your POV. They both have made mistakes in the marraige. It is unfair to put all the blame on Pratigya.

Do you know what saddens me the most is how the institution of marriage is made a mockery of. Revenge agenda not only hurts the person you want to inflict pain on but you also end up suffering.

I have reasons as to why I find this marriage a childs play. I have witnessed a bad marriage and seen how a woman has the strength to overcome difficulties without a MAN to support her. If there was 1% of support like Pratigya got through her husband and her parents, things may have been different on personal front.

That support is priceless.

Ouch! That with "tum hamare layak nahi hai" at gol gappa stand (I can see Kools getting fired up the minute she read that line😲) and Krishna telling Shamu "humri patni humko layak nahi samajthi, no tumse shikayat karne mei ka fayada". No wonder he is on the bench. Krishna remember all those painful taunts when you get back and hold on to your self-respect dude.😃 Make sure she is not playing mind games this time around when you return.
