Lovtv,
I LOVED your scenario! Come to think of it, it's quite true.
Here in India, because of the joint family system and the way things are constructed at keeping families together, it is considered a very bad thing to detach your husband from his family. A woman who demands her husband's time and attention in a disproportionate way is vilified. A woman who wants her husband to move away is seen as a homebreaker almost. But that is for NORMAL joint families.

When the family in question is a murderous insensitive lot of thugs, Ms Charming need have no qualms in detaching her man in distress, whisking him off to a certain Krishna Cottage and seducing him within an inch of his life 😆😆😳

Krishna is now a misfit in that home. He has risen to the challenges that life has presented to him; when circumstances have posed the question, he has found the answers. He is kinder than he thought, he is more just than he knew, he is nobler than he EVER suspected. His family on the other hand has FAILED that test. They are just power crazy selfish people without human scruples. Moreover, in spite of this Baba, Baba, Baba... they don't love him, they don't care for his happiness, they don't know what is happening in his mind and heart. They were always a bad influence and now they're getting worse. Krishna totally needs to be rescued from them if he is grow to become his own man.

Krishna having to "bail" her out countless times...well that is the reality of living in India. I am trying to think of examples of when he has actually bailed her out. Most of the times she has handled things on her own...isn't that what this fight is all about...that she didn't tell him about Angad and the kidnapping. But all that is besides the point.

As to how she broke down today - anyone would what happened today and what his family did to her and her father - was a horrendous act. Anyone would breakdown but the her strength comes from her ability to bounce back and perceiver and go on.

What Shamji said regarding her "PAVITRA" well again isn't that the reality of living in small time India and has nothing to do with his education. I have seen many highly educated, powerful fathers bow down to the families of their son-in-laws all for keeping peace in their daughter's married life. Or even to arrange a daughter's marriage.

When Pratigya rescues Krishna it will be more spiritually than physically. She can never compete with him physically. She will rescue him from his so called family and the cycle of violence that is the life of a "Thakur". And why should she leave the Singh home she wants Krishna and she will get him in her own way.

In the meantime I will enjoy the show as what it is ... pure entertainment and drama and a SOAP and nothing else!

Oh! very well said! 👏👏👏 Indeed today was the beginning of Krishna's spiritual salvation! The problem with this particular Cinderella is that he had no idea that he was even being oppressed! 😕
Poor Krishna's reaction today was partly targeted at Pratigya and her lack of trust and in great part at what he found inside of himself today. He found a stranger who was not his parents son, or a Thakur or the great gunda/sher he thought he was, but this wonderful man whose strenght wont let him chooge rgo over love! . He migth go back to wearing his old uncouth clothes (read manner) for sometime, but Ms Charming now has the measure of his foot, and will not rest assured till he is shod more appropriately! 😉😆😆😆😆😆😆
You can see that i am enjoying this analogy most thouroughly! Hehe!

That is perfectly ok you don't have to apologize! :) What is a little healthy debate between people with a common interest.

RE: spiritual rescuer - it remains to be seen let's see how it all plays out. :)
