The Saxenas could just have said that Angad was after Arushi.

He was blackmailing them that if they did not get Arushi married to him, he would kidnap her.

What do you guys say?

Yep he could have said that..... but you know what cvs are like they have to create drama and they tend to strays as well..

They could have but this kidnapping secret has been long time waiting to come out.....this whole case was all about the revelation.....nothing at all to do with papa dearest being in jail!!.......absolute nonsense, they might as well has Angad walking up to the SS family while they are having dinner and just blurted out the whole thing about it!!!....

This is a time when people are having relationships, breaking away from it and getting married to someone else. Sometimes I feel that the Hindi serial creatives forget in which era we are living. Yes I understand Krishna has the right to feel bad as he has supported Pratigya but then Pratigya like all TV heroines have to be Mahaan, chahe duniya idhar se udhar ho jaye, she could have easily said that Angad kidnapped her but put the blame on Krishna and it is now only she got to know it is Angad and not Krishna etc etc....and of course ladki ki father, mahaan vekti, yudhistir himself, sach bolegenge and sach ki siwaye aur kuch nehi, even if my daughter's life becomes living hell....I hate such characters ....😡

that would of back fired because the truth eventually would of came out and they would of been even madder that they lied about arushi being the pawn

exactly! lying is the worst thing to do... n no use to hide anything coz when truth comes out by a 3rd party then it is the worst case!

Arushi would not have been harmed by this lie.

I am not saying that they should have said that Arushi was kidnapped. I am saying that they should have said that Angad was bothering her and threatening to kidnap her if she did not marry him. (And that is not a lie!)

It is common for young single girls to be bugged by goons. So her "izzat" would not have been harmed in any way.

But for a married woman it is a big deal - not just to be bugged by a goon, but also be kidnapped and kept at some place for a night. Her "izzat" would be affected (especially if her Susralis are Sajjan Singh type.)
