Ye kya ho raha hai? That's the first question that popped into my mind watching this episode. The storyline has suddenly fallen off the cliff and landed in the valley of politcs. On one side we had Prof. Shyamji, a Gandhi look-alike walking into the police station meekly confessing to finishing off Angadwa to protect his family's izzat. Can't he muster up some more energy even to the extent Adarsh does to speak up about his izzat and parivaar? If it was a crime of protecting his family koyi tho passion dikhatha tho it will be convincing, na?

Yesterday for me was quite OK...only praying that Sax do not continue to hog 2day also...they are a tiresome family..All his energy has been spent in pushing of Angad off the cliff..so OM is tired..but his police station act was not upto the mark..neither was their any sympathy welling in my heart nor was there compassion...My only feeling was relief, at last he and his impractical ideas will be given a rest for some days !!😊I could not fathom why he had to bring in his daughter's modesty and discuss it in police station,of all the place,after all he is supposed to be a very dutiful and protective father [Acc to Pratigya] where was his protectiveness when he so blithely said, I did to protect my daughter from that goon..Is he so naive ?? Does he think the police will just accept his statement with questioning Aarushi,and we don't have to be a genius to understand the sort of questions that will be thrown at her,was her further humiliation necessary ?.Could not he just say, Angad was troubling us and was making life hell for us, that is why I had to take this extreme step !!😕

Nainaji, after a very dry spell opened the floodgates and started her rona-dhona once again. Between her husband and children she seems helpless and frightened by their actions. This family never gives up an opportunity to step up to the plate to create any notanki then start their crying and complain about their sorry plight. What's the matter with this Prof.? He thought it a smart move to hide the truth from Krishna about Angad and his pareshaan ways yet now he voluntarily walks into the police station and confesses to a crime of murder which is bound to be know to the entire Allahabad within minutes. In addition to the chances of toppling SS'sdream of winning an election this action by Prof. was foolish. Once again the Saxenas are messing up the Tacurse family's agenda all over again. Then the educated bunch wonder why the Tacurse are at crossroads with them.😕

although Nainaji was still doing her R&D...she was the one who was directing Adarsh to call up his Sasur, call up Prof Friend for his bail etc etc...In short Nainaji was the sensible one even in that crisis...She kept her head and was already into planning stage while Adarsh was like headless chicken squawking and running hither and thither needlessly ..

SS warned Amma about not riling him. He has stopped his maar-peet in the name of elections. So if SS deems it worthy he can altogether stop beating his patni. SS even goes far to name a school after his bahu. What a man wouldn't do for power? Krishna should pay attention to these little nuggets. Once they got to the school Krishna and Sakthi looked lost and uncomfortable in that environment. Are the press so dumb that they notice Prats's hesistancy and don't realize she is hiding something or unwilling to blow the whistle on her inlaws. The funniest moment was SS declaring the rest of the day "chutti" from school for the kids. Was that the first day of school? The whole piece about Prats supporting education for little girls..............that whole segment was staged and awkward for most part.

If the CV's want me to hate Politics and Politicians ..then they were very successful ...I felt SS was going overboard and he is being very obvious , while a few months back, he had come across as an astute and practical Patriarch !!Power corrupts and Absolute power corrupts absolutely !!😕....It is a small town honey and I have always found that ST newspaper's do not take on the mighty unless another mighty was there to back them up !!...so even if Pratigya were to make some controversial Statement..it would not have been published ..., SS's pet pooja and Gifts will take care of that [This Guy cover's all the bases 😃]

Sakthi has got wind of Prof. confession to Angad's murder and SS has been told the truth. Now they want to hide the truth from Prats and Krishna while Adarsh is desperately trying to find Prats. Is Adarsh so spineless that he had to pick up the phone the minute his hysterical mummy asked him to call Prats. Will someone tell Adarsh "grow up and be a man"? What a wuss! Without asking for details he presumes his father was arrested for Angad's murder and started arguing with the inspector about being izzatdar loge. The Saxsena family should stop touting their sharif -ness, their izzat dhar every chance they get, it's started to sound lame and worthless given the situations they find themselves in again and again.

Why does SS want to hide the fact from Pratigya ? if she is cognizant of the fact and when SS rescues Papa dearest...would not she be grateful to him?SS can twist her any way he wants using her Gratitude ...Angad is a spineless wimp..and that sums him and his behavior !😡....this is one izzatdhar family Mera that I do not want to emulate !!Girls go out traipsing in the midnight , think it is pretty normal to chat in the park at mid-night in pouring rain..do not think twice about washing dirty laundry in public, the more the public, the better show, are not bothered if their DIL is dragged by her father out of the house, find it amusing to deride the so called gawar habits of DIL behind her back,at a hint of crisis blame will be distributed generously to all except to themselves....I do not want to be such an izzatdhar person, I prefer to be a KAminay person !!

Prats is supposed to be giving her sasurji some much needed political points and yet she stands there as if the cat got her tongue and she can't speak. Here was her chance for a baashan instead both she and Krishna stood there like humble pets of SS.

Pratigya was quiet cos not enough PPL for her bhashan...if there were more PPL,the spotlight would be on and she would have done her Primadonna act !!😆

Today's episode proves the show is heading into areas that while it may promote woman's education is also becoming more or a social agenda and moving away from the love story this show is supposed to be. Krishna is continuing to follow his wife and get her to notice him while she is preoccupied by her Papa and their pareshaans. She is not ready for marriage. Her mind is still very much with maike and their issues and Krishna comes somewhere down the list close to the bottom. Does he even realize his self-esteem is already in the mitti and all it takes is a good pair of boots to grind it into the hard earth.

Pratigya knows her maika..she knows that when they mess, they mess spectacularly and so far it has not happened yet...hence this constant preoccupation with Maika [She has to keep her horses ready, swords sharpened to go to their rescue !!😆]So far the track is revolving around, Shyamji,SS, Saxena's and Pratigya...It is time now to bring in Krishna and make it..Krishna,SS and Pratigya....

What a boring episode! I give it a D+ grade.

tanthya ......what's all this talk about Star (is it the network?) is stepping in and changing the story? If the love story is going to get killed at the expense of it becoming a political or social message kind of story with Krishna becoming the comic relief for the female lead becoming a preacher, let them have the courage to spell it out to us the viewers and we can decide whether we want to watch it or not.

Didn't Pearl Grey say the network had given her complete creative control so where is this story about Star messing with her plans and changing the story trend coming from now?😕😲

agree with u tanthya. The Pratigya character is awfully boring . We dont put on TVs to see preaching , we like entertainment .

Kesar and Naina leave me indifferent but occasionally they speak practical sense . Most entertaining character : SS and Krishna .They make the screen alive . . The show is named after Pratigya but her standard dress , standard smiles , standard preaching beginning with HUM and constant disapproval is a major put off .She is so unromantic and robotic that I wud honestly welcome a second female lead who wud give her competition .
