I think Guruma is somehow the backbone to SS's political dreams and his claim on power in the community. Why else would an egocentric man like SS bow down to someone like her? Also notice I don't think she is really a spiritual leader of sorts. If she was we wouldn't be hearing words like behoodi about Krishna and his threatening his wife to beat her to the point no one would treat her at a hospital. The man is abusive when anything interferes with is POV about his life.

Krishna has given SS a run for his money, showing his old man he is equally if not more ziddi than him. SS insults Baba every time and repeats the same insulting point in different ways............go hold on to your wife's pallu and dance to her tune, keep her on her head and dance and other demeaning statements.

Earlier in the show when Krishna told SS he will change all riti-riwaz in the family if he has to and will bring Pratigya as the bahu of the house, i always suspected if consciously or unconsciously Baba knew that his family needed a huge leap into the present century. He compared his home to a kaidhkhana and Prats's home as a ghar. He saw a diff. world than the one he knew and lived and he saw Prats as the sherni who had the guts to slap Angad as the one who could also stand up to his family and change their ways with his support as he has chosen to stand by her. He believes she has the answers to his family's issues that need addressing and takes pride in her way of accomplishing it, they way he dealt with saving Kesar's baby.

Krishna/Prats will be on the outs with Angad's lies but I don't think it will last long. Prats will try to defend her position to Krishna and after a short while he will start to suspect Angad as well. He may have some help from Tunna/Chandu who will do anything for their bhaiyya and bhabhi.

I am very concerned about Pratigya's return. Not to Krish but to Thakur house. If I were her mom I would probably tell her not to go back. SS did not really say that he would stop Amma and Komal from brutalizing Pratigya all he said was that he had ways of counteracting damage from the exposure. bad news bad news. especially because Amma's true strength and capabilities have not been shwn yet by CV's. So far we have only seen threats no actions. She seems resourceful however when she really wants something and does not mind the abuse that comes in the process of getting her way. If Adarsh takes Komal back (as his reason for keeping her there is now gone) that will be good for Pratigya and Arushi. Pratigya becuase one less enemy in Singh household and Arushi because she gets a female Krishna around.

Yes the CV's seem to be doing ok with krish's progression. let's see how long they can maintain it.

You are also correct about Krish's belief in his family's love. Pratigy ahs hte same belife about her family which is why she became suspicious to begin with.

I think both Komal and Pratigya need to be taught a lesson in humility and family decorum. The former for her ill behaviour towards Nainaji (her behaviour towards Adarsh and Arushi and Dadi in most instances except the one where Adarsh gets her bangles is totally vwarranted) and Pratigy for her behaviour towards Krishna.

But I do not want these lessons to be violent ones. I want Komal's lesson to be one of shame for her actions and Pratigya;s to be one of guilt. I thinkt eh CV's have started working on the latter. They had already achieved the former but there was a regression because of the seperation. they will have to work on it again.

I did not include Krishna in the above because in my opinion he has received his punishment for his stalking of Pratigya. His punishment started from the day of his marriage - he was humiliated repeated and emotionally and verbally abused by her, his family. her family, the moneylender, angad and the list grows. He has been denied the love and companionship from the object of his obsession. I think he has realized that his the due he paid for pursuing her unrelentingly. I think he has also been able to take this punishment (for the most part) because he is not ashamed of pursuign her though in retrospect he sees her POV that he was wrong in doing it.

I am shocked to see prats dealing with Angad on her own while the two men in her family jus watch. 😕 Adarsh has failed not only as a brother but also as a husband, but I don't blame him cuz his dad is a sissy 😆
