Great post hun👍🏼.I just read all the comments in this thread and kind of came to the conclusion that many ppl(not all) like Krishna because of Arhaan,his looks,his ability to portray Krishna's character with so many dimensions and layers.I have noticed some difference between the characters Krishna and Angad(I hope I am not wrong and pls feel free to correct me if I am😊).

Krishna has got many layers/dimensions/sides to him which Angad doesn't have.Angad is a straight character and so far has been portrayed in a negative light.Krishna is supposed to be a grey character and on the whole isn't shown as "a villainish type of a person" (but has done certain despicable things which can bring him into the villain category).At times he's sweet but the very next minute he does something which would make one feel like kicking him hard.Angad has always been the plotting,scheaming and deffinitely the manipulative type(remember how he encouraged or convinced Krishna to do or believe in certain things while Krishna was stalking Pratigya before they got married).

From what I've understood about Krishna's character,he does certain things like beating up Angad for harassing Shyamji about Arushi,with let's say,some sort of a good intention since he feels a sense of protection towards Pratigya's family or it could even be because he feels that no one has the right to mess with HIS sasural because of who he is and his faltu pride,but then again I hope he did that for reason 1.

Angad so far has been shown to have a bad or a negative intention behind whatever he does.If he does something to someone,his intention is to harm that person in someway whereas I feel or rather hope that when Krishna does certain things he doesn't know what kind of an impression it will form or the effect it will have on that person.

This is just my POV as to why ppl might prefer Krishna over Angad😊

Krishna battle is not only within himself but also with SS archaic ideas and Pratigya's Impracticality ...

I tend to believe that he does love Pratigya. I think so too ..but that love is overruled by hot burning passion 😊

Most of the bad things that he did to Partigya were the ideas that were knocked into his head by others in a manner that left very little choice for him to act otherwise.

yes !! that is true ...I mean when your own father is telling you to force urself on her and establish ur hakk ..then it wud seem to krishna that he has the moral sanction to force himself on her !!..the trouble is krishna has not come up on and interacted with an strong and educated person ..he has come across an educated stubborn pratigya who is forever harping that he is wrong ,,but never tells him where he he is wrong and how he is wrong and the sax family are so scared that they don't even open their mouth apart from pleading for mercy .. and if you were to tell me about varun ..then let me assure you 15 mins of Bhashan without any reinforcements will not undo all the teaching of 25 years ....to unlearn all the dreadful lessons and to learn the correct code of conduct will take time ..,it cannot be accomplished by the waving of the wand ..

The good things that he did for her or her family, where he used his own head backfired. His upbringing and lack of education are other major factors pushing him backwards whenever he wanted to correct the wrongs in a wrong way. I think Pratigya now should step in and fill those gaps in his personality to actually help herself. Her life can never get better if she leaves him to grow into a more frustrated and more aggressive personality. She should help him to start transforming into her own ideal for him to understand her point of view..

Angad is a thug (like Shakti) relies on use of force in a malicious, vengeful, vindictive manner. he is the type of person who gets sore when he loses. In him and Shakti I see literally zero potential for for redemption or transofrmation. Education would not make an iota of difference in these type fo people becasue their core personality is chauvinistic and sadistic in nature. they get pleasure at the pain or sufferin of others and in many instances act as instigators or abbetters in causing the misery.

Shakthi relies on brute force and physical strength to intimidate his opponent ...Angad is slyness personified ,he is vindictive and has a cunning of an animal ....Also Angad is an excellent judge of character ..while both Shakthi and Krishna are not good judge of ppl (SS is an exception)

Krishna in my mind is different. he is a pampered boy living in a very chauvinistic environment. he is strong enough to act forceful when required but this force is a tough guy thing, a survival instinct.

Krishna reminds me of an animal tied up on leash ( Seriously ,no offence to anyone ...am unable to come with an apt analogy ) ...that animal has complete freedom to get anything til the point wher the leash stretches ....but he cannot get anything beyond the reach of leash ...he can hown and roar ,,but he still will not get it !!this animal might be strong and powerful but he is still bound by a leash ....same with Krishna too ...Krishna wanted Pratigya and got Pratigya but when Pratigya harmed the owner ,then she was forbidden and no anount of roaring ,raging cud get Pratigya back .....and Krishna was bound by the leash of money ,filial bonding ,family loyalty etc ..

he has repeatedly shown a more gentle side. his aggressive behaviour towards his wife only appears in situations when he is frustrated. yet he always manages to control his base impulse for aggression and step away from the situation. he has a lot of potential for redemption. 👍🏼Education would have made a great deal of difference to this charachter's development. he has begun to reliaze that the tame world which he considers anamoly since birth may not be a weak society just an alternative one.

I don't think that realization has sunk in yet !!

he does not cause misery but when surrounded by it he choses to ignore it or play indifferent. this si because he has seeing torture since birth and as a child probably learnt to develop an immunity to other people's suffering as a survival instinct and this has maintained as a base instinct in his adult life. While he may not stop his mother or kesar from getting beaten he has never smirked or demonstrated an ounce of support or pleasure at the knowledge of their torture.

Yes !! that is quite true !!...he has never applauded or admired SSS action's in fact has turned away from it ..

I have seen him play tough guy but not seen him play thug. In my mind the gun scene and the tying wife to car seat was not in line with the character that has been shown since epi one. so maybe this was the CV's rare foray into ludicruousness to add an element of drama to an otherwise serious and emotionall charged show.

I think it was in character !! Krishna is not a thinking and anaylsing guy ...he sees a problem ,he will find the easiest way out without thinking out the consequences ..and that is what happened in those 2 scenes ..

If Krishna had Kesar, Kesar's life would be very different and Krishna would be shown as being a respectable yet powerful thakur. This is not because Kesar accepts a beating or anything. this is because her true personality seems to be one of a caring, thoughtful sensitive, calm and tactful individual who acts as a partner (if allowed) rather than a dominatrix. His mistake was choosing a sherni not a jeevan saathi. So he is paying for it now.

I think he was enamoured of pratigya ,b'coz she was from a different world ,,,must have seemed like a rare and exotic creature to him 😃 ...her behavior and attitude was entirely different from the girls he had known .....and more importantly ...she did not give 2 hoots to him !!😃

And ur points actually made me think... From the beginning until the honeymoon track, I was SURE that Krishna is different from Angad or Shakti... But after that track, I slowly started to see the similarities between these two characters just like u mentioned!!!

I agree that Angad is as important to this serial as is KriYa love-story!😉

And I totally agree with Shruthi about the difference in between Krishna and Angad... Most of Krishna's intentions are selfish and wrong BUT atleast some of his actions are based one his genuine intention to help, ONLY his WRONG ways makes it look like a WRONG intention... Where as Angad's actions are solely based on his wrong and selfish intentions to harm the other person.

Another difference is that Krishna has this teeny-weeny conscience left in him which made him marry Pratigya instead of just having fun with her, stopped him from r**ing Pratigya when she stopped resisting him during the honeymoon - dont want to think about what he could've done IF SS didnt interrupt during his second attempt,🤢, for the sake of my nazuk dil,😆 - but the point is, the character of Krishna has this almost-fading conscience in him which gives him the chance to correct his mistakes and truly love Pratigya one day, on the other hand, I dont remember Angad having ny kind of conscience in him...

And lastly, I dont think even Kunal could've portrayed Krishna in the way Arhaan did it - Its like the character of Krishna was made for Arhaan... Even I cant imagine ny other actor, not even Rajeev Khandelwal (my other fav. actor!) playing the role of Krishna - maybe bcoz there was no such character on Indian TV serials... But, I think more than the character sketch, its Arhaan's acting that makes Krishna likeable even after doing certain despicable things... COZ, if I only think of Krishna as a real life character, I cant help myself but hate him from the bottom of my heart, 😆.

However, if I think of Arhaan playing the character and Krishna not being real, even after the hateful things that he does to Pratigya, just when he softens up to her, like when Pratigya looks at his injured hand and Krishna asks HER if SHE is having ny trouble - I felt like he was indirectly suggesting Pratigya to inquire after his injured hand, 😆 Then, he says that he hasnt eaten nything ever since she left, me was like the dude is soo looking for Pratigya's sympathy but when she doesnt reply right away, he pushes it and says that it wouldnt matter to her as who is he to her...😆 I find him super cute during those moments and thats totally bcoz Krishna is NOT REAL and Arhaan acted super cutely during that moment!!!😳
