confusing

Hi I'm new to this forum and i just recently began watching pratigya so in order to better understand the characters i watched the old episodes and even though Krishna's character is extremely confusing there is one thing that really bothered me. As i watched the episodes before their marriage i realized he was trying to justify getting his sister married to Adarsh because he knew they were a good family one which did not believe in beating the women in their lives. And he repeatedly tried to explain this specific quality not only to his sister, but on certain occasions to his family as well. From this behavior it seems that deep inside he knows that hitting women is unacceptable , and i don't understand that if he was so happy that his sister would not get beating regularly from her husbands, why did he hit his wife. I saw that episode and even if he was mad, that is just not a good enough reason to hit anyone especially when he was the root of all of the misunderstanding and eventually the outcome of the situation. no offence to anyone i may have missed something, but I would love to hear what everyone has to say about this. 😛
