I don't get why Krishna actually believes that Pratigya will come back. It's not like he displayed his "perfection" of being a husband like Ram ji. LOL She doesn't have a solid reason to return back to him. Kudh ki khadda banaya hai aur kehta hai ki "hum khadde mein nahi jayenge". Blah!! Toh phir koun jayega?

Maybe what he really needs is go to a place that is quiet and in solitude, he needs to think about what he has done. Some cause and effect thinking will do him some good. Upar se, there won't be no SS, or Guniya The Devil to influence him.

Rape !!! we have been going on and on about this Rape thing like forever ...😊 ....and we been roundly condemning it or supporting according to the camps that we belong to ...or we have been against it as a neutral observars ....but if we are going to look from Krishna's pov ....he would consider Physical intimacy as his Right ...Remember he still has not realized that wife is a partner in his life ...he considers her as his trophy , his possession ,to be handled howsoever he wants ...and sadly Pratigya could not make him understand that she was a living ,breathing flesh who has her own expectation's ....But now she seems to have found her strength and I am sure that she will make him understand the fact that "Paon ki joothi jab Kaatha hai ,tho bahut dard hota hai " ....and once she earns his respect,love will follow and so will a change in his archaic thought process ...

He is well within his rights to demand his conjugal rights but when his wife refuses to give it to him, then he does have the alternative of a divorce. It may be another thing that such a thing may be looked down by his family but if he is so desperate for conjugal bliss, he should consider that as an option rather than impose himself on an unwilling girl. Marital rape cannot be condoned. Krishna will not go in for a divorce not only because his family may not like it but also because it would mean he has to accept defeat, which he will not. So he better find out what he is doing wrong and repair his marriage rather than blame all and sundry for the mess he is in.

True. He does have his pluses. He is fearless and can stand up to anyone, including his ominous father. He needs to do this when it matters most and for the right reasons.

At the end of the day ,one and all definitely want to see a change in him ...BUT if the change occured overnight ,or within a short time ...then it would be lacking in conviction ...the change has to be slow and the true change will happen thru pain...and Baba seems to be in pain ...so we may expect change unless the CV'S have some other idea

He need not show drastic change over night but at least he should not be vascillating as much as he is now. One day he takes a step forward and the next day he takes two steps back.

Manhood is not only about impregnating a woman. Even animals can do that. Nothing grreat in that. Well, throughout they showed Krishna caring a damn about what his family thinks of him or his relationship with Pratigya. He shut them up everytime they tried to find fault in her or goaded him to be more firm with her. Why then should he have this sudden urge to prove he is in control of the situation?

Second ,I don't think Krishna had any reason to recant [he is impulsive ,not far sighted ]....esp when SS manages to say and convey what would happen if Prats were not to be Preg's ?

It does not take one to be too far sighted to know that this lie is not something you can say one day and forget the next. People will expect a baby to show up at the end of 7-8 months. what was he planning to do then? Steal someone's baby and claim it as his own? From his second attempt to force himself on her, it appears he saw a window of opportunity to get his physical demands met in the pretext of converting the lie into a truth.

But what I fail to completely understand or simply failed to understand was his continued silence when Prats was trashed by one and all ...THAT I am not able to understand at all ?

Well, if manhood is the reason he started the lie in the first place why would he then admit the truth later when Pratigya was questioned? Would he then not be bringing that very same manhood into question? It is another thing that he appears to have not anticipated Pratigya to spill all the beans and admit that she has not let him touch her in the first place. Now that would be a serious slur on his 'manhood' as the Thakurs understands it. So to show that he is indeed a man he slaps her! Wah!!!
