The way I see it Pratigya is no Mother Teresa. There is plenty of blame to go around in how Krishna and Pratigya are dealing with each other. She is portrayed as a weak woman who blames everyone else for her life. She has made poor choices along the way before she knew about Krishna.... hiding things and lying to her family to begin with. The way I see her, no self-respecting strong woman will marry a man who has humiliated her family. She embraces her sasural as her own but not her husband? She stands up for Kesar's truth about the baby with her sasural but won't stand up for her own right and out the lie? If she is a strong woman why isn't she fighting back with her sasural when they treat her poorly instead letting Krishna stepping in to save her day every time? Let's not forget her verbal tongue-lashing at Krishna when she can't handle the stress in that household, a choice she walked herself into with her own justifiable reasons.
Prats is fundamentally lacking in common sense. Her treatment of Krishna is the more subtle verbal and emotional kind that leaves no physical scars but deep emotional ones. Krishna said as much to the Sucksenas at the pooja. When he of his own volition stepped in to defend Arushi's honor and that of his sasural, he gets a verbal lashing from Arushi as her way of showing him gratitude. Pratigya in her own way pretended like it never even happened even after seeing the chaaku stab. This girl raised with good sanskar didn't have anything nice to say to thank him for standing in for her family, did she?😕 If she did, I didn't see it.😕
When Prats doesn't know how to problem solve she expects Krishna to step in and save her from the wrath of her sasural. If she thinks she can say and behave any way she pleases with Krishna and expects him not to react, that's ridiculous. Every person has a snapping point, even if he is a saint. And we all know that Krishna is no saint. 😲😊
