why Komal is the way she is

In my opinion, children who grow up seeing abuse in the family are ironically 'abused kids'. Komal has always seen her mother being mistreated by her dad and her sis in law mistreated by her brother. She has no respect for her mother or her sisters in law. To her they are meant to be treated like that. Her anger for Partigya is the truth that the latter is not goingthrough the open ridicule as othe other two women in her parent's house.

She will have to go through a lot of soul cleansing to relaize that there are loving families too existing in this bad bad world.

Well said! And taking into consideration what u have pointed out, it'll be very interesting to watch how Komal...errr, becomes komal (soft) !!! 😆

Coming to ur question, Komal has observed the behaviour of the men of the family...and b'coz she looks upto them she thinks that their behaviour is acceptable.
