you knw what ...how about you open a new file and then try saving it....maybe if it saves it somewhere then the "my document" thing will appear....

Rebooting shouldn't give this sorta problem, it usually recovers all the previous files.....

can you see the "my computer" icon? does it display anything....or is just blank? 😕
