Guys...i appreciate ur concern for Hindi or other Languages...

I wanna remind u all of guys...that IF is that site in which u can see more non-hindi members than hindi spoken members...So sometimes it became difficult for non-Hindi speakers that inspite of having interest in a show they face difficulty to understand the happenings in the show...so English being International language accepted over world...

As u all can notice that we can type everything here only in English whatever it is...be it hindi dialogues or any post...to express our views in hindi or in english..we hv to type in english...So i guess...everybody here will be enough educated to read english as well as Hindi...

So it's upto to our convenience in which language we wanna post... Be it hindi..or English or any other language...

Language shouldn't be an issue...

Everybody has right to use their convenient language..nobody is compelled to use only a particular language... So if anybody doesn't like other language...then it's his/her personal problem...they can't force others to use Hindi or English or any other language particularity...

As the post creator mention he didn't like people using English..then it's his/Her problem....
Plzz don't force other to use what u find convenient coz it may be inconvenient to others...

Hope my this lecture will help to sort this argument topic...

Plzz keep in mind...everybody has right to post acc. to self convenience others are not allowed to compell or force anyone.......

well said Mona👏👏👏

I guess those people who request for English,Star Plus provides them the subtitle service 🤢,this is really irritating for me,😡when a serial is in UP Hindi, and request for English..I have one question too..do the foreign people also watch Hindi serials? Are they participate in the forum? If all are Indian,or most of them are Indian, then I find it really ridiculous when they announce that they have just started to learn Hindi. Don't get any impression that I follow Raj Thakrey as I am demanding for own language, but it's about the authenticity of a show..pure UP style, rural accent.. and request to write in English..wow..thus we surely miss the actual flavour of the show.

If foreign indicates being non indian then you can classify me as foreign. I however do understand the language but i can relate to those people who might have difficulty in trying to read peoples posts which are written in hindi. Yes the show may be spoken in complete hindi with a rural accent depending on the characters. But listening to someone speak hindi and trying to read is two complete different scenarios. Wheras i can fluently speak and listen to hindi. I have major troubles trying to read posts that are written in hindi. It takes a while and sometimes i dont understand what their trying to convey. I'm not saying all posts should be written in english, all i'm trying to say is even people who understand the language may have difficulties in trying to interpret their words.

Foreign means the Europe and American countries...where no trace of Hindi ,or Punjabi..I know very well that ,Pakistan,Afghanistan ,these countries are very much familiar with Hindi.. Foreign means people who live beyond the South Asian continent..main thing is ,if any Indian who resides in America or Europe..if she or he claims not to understand Hindi..that is a shame..have u ever seen the English or Americans to forget or not to learn their own language?

Yes but your contradicting your own words. You very well noted that Europe and American countries are places where there are no traces of hindi. And other countires such as Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Punjab are. It is difficult for someone who has grown up in a foreign country to be able to speak as fluently as any other person who resides in countries where hindu is the mother language. The English or Americans would not forget their own language if there living in their country because obviously the main language is English ! So if an indian lives in a foreign country and speaks part or broken hindu then thats completely understandable ! Because the country they live in speaks English, they would go to schools which speak english, they would have friends whom speak English. And who knows some parents that live in foreign countries also speak English to their kids. So there is no shame and no blame, in fact you should be encouraging people who announce "that they are starting to learn hindu" because its never too late to learn a language.

personally, I perfer english and I can totally understand you because I am not that great in hindi, especially when it come towriting transliteration or speaking in hindi...

But having said that, on this forum, we have people from all over world..hence their own preference when it comes to language. I am not saying this directly to you...I am saying this in general because people have been requesting for their language of preference........so I don't think we should ask anyone to write in a certain laguage.

So, if you find that you are not able to understand a certain post in a certain language, then we should stay away from it, as far as I know, hindi and enligh both are used in this forum, so we can join the discussions that we are comfortable with....I know it was a request, but its an open forum so
everyone has the freedom of expression...sorry if I offended anyone, but this is the only solution...

and I agree with siince...

I am not contradicting anything,I am suffering from the same linguistic dilemma.. where I can write with full authenticity using Hindi, there I am being asked to write in English..I am just writing,I really can't have the proper feeling.Authenticity matters..

For example:-- Pride & Prejudice made in 1995 starring Collin Firth,it is still the best version of P & P..but when it comes to 2005 American version,it showed a lot of difference, which was clearly showing the deterioration. And Gurindar Chaddha made a blunder named Bride & Prejudice. P& P 1995 version still so popular just because the pure English structure, the scenario of England and its contemporary society, the proper accent in the speaking manner.

Best thing can be suggested in this linguistic dilemma,if you are not understanding any topic because of any certain language, you just leave it.You don't have any right to irritate the Topic starter requesting for any certain language,Already this IF has a long chart of Rules and Regulations..and after that if we Authors are to tolerate these kind of requests ,then I think I would prefer to leave this forum.

Readers must think about the Author,Author writes with full determination and then if the Author is supposed to stand this linguistic dilemma..that becomes horrible .I can say by my personal feeling.Every line,I thought I could write better in Hindi,I am writing in English..can't explain how painful it it is.

People who request for any certain language,I will be obliged if they give an attention to this matter too..be a little bit empathetic with the Author.

do the foreign people also watch Hindi serials? The answer is 'YES';;;; Are they participate in the forum? Again the answer is 'YES';;;; But I have never requested to write in English… I love hindi movies/reality tv and serials… But I can't understand the language very well… In every morning I come to this forum to understand previous day's show.. Specially pratigya, the language is very difficult to understand. I would love if all the Indian channels provide subtitles. But unfortunately not L. But thanks to you wonderful people I catch the episodes well… But I have no objection if you guys continue ur topics in hindi, When someone is is talking in Hindi, that is understandable, but it is really difficult to understand when someone is writing in hindi(even in English letters) ….

Pratigya forum is the forum where most of the ppl are writing their ideas in Hindi.I think they are enjoying the language style in the program .. But my dear friends that is the program we need your help a lot to understand it well…. Any ways you all a rocking J J J

I agree with that every author has the right to write in whatever language they want or prefer. And if the reader cannot undertand then leave it to that. I'm not supporting the person who made this topic nor am i against her. I just didn't agree with your opinion when you stated it is a shame for indians to not be able to speak hindu. That was totally not relevant to this topic, to some people it might even be offensive.
But whatever, its your opinion, and i said mine.
aal iz well ! 👍🏼
