Yup my point is the same! All members of the forum do not understand hindi that well, specially when hindi words are expresssed by english alphabets! It becomes hard at times even for me to figure out some hindi words a person is trying to convey! 😕 😆

But still I would, say all are free to choose their language! I prefer mixture of hindi and english! So does everyone else have their choices! 👏

I'm from Maldives, though I can understand what they are saying in serials or movies, its SO hard for me to read the comments when its written in hindi, most of the time I have to skip them :(

..but its ok, can't blame you guys :) just thought of sharing that when I saw this topic..I don't post that much, but I read the forum regularly n this is something I face everyday when I go through the topics lol

Don't mean to be rude, but everyone has freedom of expression (as priti has mentioned)...and its a different situation for everyone
I myself can barely manage to read and understand transliteration of hindi (thanks to priti)..... and though I didn't understand everything you've said, but watching the show is different from writing in hindi...and a lot of people including myself are not fluent in hindi....
I didn't mean to offend you, but I hope that you understand other people's point of view as well and you are more than welcome to write in hindi and it's an open forum, so let's respect each others opinion/language/preference....

Guys...i appreciate ur concern for Hindi or other Languages...

I wanna remind u all of guys...that IF is that site in which u can see more non-hindi members than hindi spoken members...So sometimes it became difficult for non-Hindi speakers that inspite of having interest in a show they face difficulty to understand the happenings in the show...so English being International language accepted over world...

As u all can notice that we can type everything here only in English whatever it is...be it hindi dialogues or any post...to express our views in hindi or in english..we hv to type in english...So i guess...everybody here will be enough educated to read english as well as Hindi...

So it's upto to our convenience in which language we wanna post... Be it hindi..or English or any other language...

Language shouldn't be an issue...

Everybody has right to use their convenient language..nobody is compelled to use only a particular language... So if anybody doesn't like other language...then it's his/her personal problem...they can't force others to use Hindi or English or any other language particularity...

As the post creator mention he didn't like people using English..then it's his/Her problem....
Plzz don't force other to use what u find convenient coz it may be inconvenient to others...

Hope my this lecture will help to sort this argument topic...

Plzz keep in mind...everybody has right to post acc. to self convenience others are not allowed to compell or force anyone.......

Its Indian forum but English is an international and most widely spoken language. Not everyone on this forum is fluent in Hindi..the show itself is Hindi, so the ones that are not so fluent in English can watch the show and understand it. Its a forum for everyone, and English is the most spoken language and recognized as the ''world' language. For counties where English is not the official language, it is taught most widely as the foreign language

We should appreciate the members that take their time to do the updates, i dont think writing in English is degrading or insulting the Indian culture, what is language to the culture? its more the dress, the traditions and the belief and people in India these days are becoming more westernized then people outside India. Speaking Hindi does not tag one Indian, its the belief that makes one Indian. I Speak English much more than Hindi coz i am from UK, but that does not make me English, i am still Indian not because of what language i speak, but because of what i believe.

So let us just say a BIG THANKYOU to the updaters for spending time to write and express themselves so beautifully...i am not able to click like on every update, but i do really appreciate all you members that write with so much dedication.

my take on this topic:
Hindi is my mother tongue n father tongue also 😉
I am fluent in reading, writing n speaking both Hindi n English.
But, it is very different to read Hindi that has been written in English fonts, and if the whole post is written in Hindi then it is very troublesome to read it all...
The forums r visited by many non-Hindi speaking people too, and we will be putting them out of our discussions if we stick to only one language!
And you must have noticed that we do use 'Hinglish', after all we are the ones who gave the TV guys the word: Aadan Pradan 😆
So, it's better to use a language that all can understand 😊
