No, but why Mallika and Adnan accepted those roles are beyond me. She can mask her disappointment well, if she has any but Adnan, he literally seems to be seething from what I've seen in the interview. All the "uhhh"s and "umm"s, those doesn't seem to be in their vocabulary for their other shows' interviews. Mallika of all should have known the mannerisms given that she did a mythological show previously.

That's my state of mind knowing that 1 of his best shows, which literally made me less depressed and which I relate to, might be his only best work he'll ever do, because he's a "director's actor" most probably. I need a moment. Also, do you know the link to the promo that may shatter the show further, where he forcefully marries Karuwaki?

Agree to everything you said !! He might improve in coming episodes but script and direction need to support his efforts then only it will be visible onscreen!! I also feel he is director’s actor and infact he himself mentioned many times how Ravi Bhushan used to do retakes until he gets his shot right !! Sometimes he used to enact and show what he needed. Same goes to Mallika as well !!

I get the feeling from all these years of hearing stories about Eku's PH that they work in a very fast environment where an episode might be due in the evening and shooting takes place earlier on the same day. So, they prefer 1-take actors instead on doing multiple retakes to get a scene right.

I really feel the best place to start working in historical or mythological shows would be Swastic Productions aka with Siddharth Tiwari (Mahabharat, Porus, etc..). Because even Pooja Sharma was a débutante but her performance as Draupadi was brilliant and she worked with little to no workshops.

Harsh if the cast members were to read that. 🤣😭 I feel both sad and feel like laughing too. Idk. But the real damage would be to the actors, as they're in the front screen. Then, afterwards & within the industry it would be the loss of the crew or the 1s working in the background. "The actors are doing their job gently." does it mean that they are taking their job lightly or doing a good/average job?

Exactly. Dharma was wearing an anarkali or something. I am pretty sure women didnt wear those in that time period. And Ashok is always wearing dull colours and black. I mean seriously? What nonsense

I am not aware of this abt Ekta's PH. But they did start shooting sometime back so I assume they had enough time to shoot things and might have episode bank as well.

Anarkali 🤣😂👏 yeah but I guess it was lehnga but the actress is really good

I disagree. The main actor is struggling with speaking Hindi as I have read online. His expressions are pretty dull and boring. Plus there is absolutely no chemistry between the 2 main leads. He can act in other genres but historical is not for him. Actors like Rajat Tokas, Siddharth Nigam, Ashish Sharma, Sumedh Mudgalkar would have been better as Ashok.
