Was thinking of making a post on Abbus for a long time. This post is a result of nearly one year of research on one of the most intriguing characters in QH - Abbu. šDefinitely Abbus of QH are quite different from Abbus of elsewhere world. Don't agree, read on.
Currently, there are 2 full-blown abbus and 1 going-to-be abbu in QH - Gafoor, Rashid and Imran. (Farhaan may be included very soon).
What does it take to be an Abbu in QH? I have noticed a few common traits which I have listed below. So, here we go - some of the idiosyncrasies of QH Abbus:
a. Have 2 women
- Rashid has Shireen and Dilshad
- Gafoor has Razia and Zainab
- Imran has Tanveer and Najma
b. Should desert the first woman
- Rashid disowned Dilshad
- Gaforr got Zainab killed
- Imran paid Rs.2 Crore for services offered by Tanveer
c. Should abandon the first-born
- Rashid abandoned Asad
- Gafoor abandoned Zoya
- Imran has abandoned Tannu's child
d. Should seek redemption after 17 years
- Rashid wanted Asad after 17 years
- Gafoor began searching for his daughter after 17 years
- Imran - (may search for kitten after 17 years)
Going by these Abbu statistics, do you think will Asad ever become a Abbu in Qh, provided the nikaah does happen at 4th attempt?
